I have visited the island on various occasions, but I have to say that staying in Clare's condo was like a home away from home. Truly thoughtful and thorough, Clare anticipated and covered all our household needs. The property is impeccably clean, which for me is incredibly important. I had brought friends of mine from the mainland who had never visited the island and they loved the property, primarily bc it was close to the beach but away from the buzz of the main strip. I would definitely stay here again, without a doubt!

We stayed at this property for 10 days in July 2012. The room was clean and had everything that we need (beach & kitchen equipments) + many great books on Hawaii and insider tips from the owner. Tv is upgraded to LCD screen and the unit has free Wifi. The location is very convenient as it located next to the laundry room. You wont find any better place than this with a nice warm welcome from Clare, the owner of this unit. We enjoy our stay and will definitely come back again.

If you are looking for a place to stay to experience the tourist areas of Oahu this is the place. Clare's condo is awesome! She provides all the comforts of home. All you need to do is bring your bathing suit so you can hit the beach. The condo was clean and immaculate. Clare is a very attentive hostess. It is about a five minute walk down the street to the beach.

It was truly home away from home! From the moment we walked in, we felt aloha. Clare made the process of internet selection easy. She followed through on everything. All instructions clear.
The property is clean, even though we didn't have direct contact with the staff, they were friendly, helpful if needed.
Clare had fresh fruit, coffee, chocolates and many many more thoughtful condo desires. The view cannot be beat. Diamondhead is no where else. To have an unobstructed view all the time...well, I loved that view.
We have been to Waikiki many times. We learned about more explorations from Clare. yay! She has a full library of oahu/hawaii books/picture books.
The TV has been updated from the picture I see on the site. The kitchen has everything you would need to make any meal.
The location is convenient to all of Waikiki-walking distance-and is quiet.
Elevators always working. Easy to get off on the condo floor.

From the minute we first inquired about the condo through to our checkout Clare was attentive and helpful. She worked to ensure we didn't forget anything befor our flight and once on the island she greeted us warmly and took us for a short walking tour of the area. She checked in with us to see if we had any needs and sent us off upon our check out with a warm aloha.
The condo itself is very comfortbly furnished with beautiful details and everything you need for your stay. The beds were cozy and the linens top-rate. Not only was there coffee but also a wonderful tropical fruit basket. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked if you choose to cook, and with nice utensils and dishes, not cheap restaurant utensils or someone's leftovers.
The condo is just a few blocks from the beach and the main strip but far enough away to not be bothered by city traffic. The inclusive parking is a definite bonus if you rent a car.
Clare is a very humble woman and doesn't want her presense to outshine the condo; but her wonderfully warm aloha Spirit adds to the positive experience of your stay in your home away from home. -

Clare was the most personable host. She made sure to ask our coffee preferance, milk, cream etc. She had a special fruit basket upon our arrival. Took the time to send out information regaring the island ahead of time, got us coupons to various places by picking up some pamphlets for us.
Had all the fun beach stuff, umbrellas, mats, boogie boards, sand toys (if you have little ones) the condo is well decorated and really makes you feel like you are in a home away from home.
She was there to bid us a good bye and made sure all went well for us.
The location is great. 2 blocks from the beach and walking distance to the Waikiki action.
A great bonus is that parking was included in the stay. No worries about having to pay or find parking anywhere.
Definitely a place my family and I will go back to. -

This apartment is in a great location - esp. for a family with young children. It's a couple of blocks from the protected part of Waikiki beach - easy to walk there and back in bathing clothes carrying a boogie-board - yet in a relatively quiet location. Perfect view of Diamond Head from the sitting room/lanai - wonderful to sit out with that first morning coffee or a glass of wine when the kids have gone to sleep.
The apartment is exactly as advertised - spotlessly clean, well furnished, comfortable beds , good linens and kitchen ware etc. The proper two bedroom layout is worth a little extra. Parking inside the building was never a problem either.
Clare is the perfect host: professional, highly organized and responsive yet extremely approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. From the Welcome Basket (saves that rush to a shop for a few essentials when you arrive) to the helping hand loading the taxi when you leave - she makes every effort to make your stay relaxed and enjoyable. Our five-week stay went far too quickly.

We're so glad we found this gem of a place. It is a great location on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki, very easy to get to and convenient to everywhere. The beach is about a five minute walk, the zoo and Park are just as close by. The condo was nicely furnished, well-equipped with everything we needed, and most important to us, immaculately clean throughout.
The Diamond Head view was absolutely amazing...when we walked in, it took our breath away!
The owner, Clare, was so gracious and helpful with our reservation. She made sure we had all the information we needed to make a confident decision about the property and always answered our e-mails promptly (sometimes within minutes). She contacted us at appropriate times before our arrival and for our check-in, she was there to greet us personally.
We've stayed at hotels and other private vacation rentals through the years, this is one of the best places we've ever had the pleasure of staying at. For the quality of the accommodations and value you will receive, we highly recommend this beautiful condo for your vacation and we will definitely be staying here again for our return visits to Hawaii.
