      Magnificent view and fabulous amenities!

Left on 03/18/2013 for a stay in March 2013

We stayed 5 days/ 4 nights in a one bedroom unit as a promotional deal from HGV. We were thrilled with all the amenities and our room was very comfortable and well appointed. The concierge service was amazing! The tour busses picked up on time each day and were very convenient. All the tours we went on had awesome guides. We enjoyed several of the restaurants on the property. The location was great for walking. We did not need a car at all. One tip, we do not recommend using the "Aloha hop on and off bus" from Grey Line. We chose this option for our package deal and were very disappointed. They did not have more than 2 busses running and we were left standing in the rain for long periods of time. Even when we did get picked up there was no dry seating inside or out. We wasted a whole day waiting for these busses and saw very little.
The Hilton property is very beautiful. Ask for the room with the best view! We did and enjoyed gorgeous sunsets from our lanai every evening!
Can't say enough nice things about our experience at this resort!

Would go back yearly if it weren't a 12 hour flight

Left on 03/16/2013 for a stay in October 2012

We purchased our Hilton timeshare points in 2011 and had a bunch of bonus points expiring shortly so my husband and I took our kids as well as both our parents, my brother and his family and 2 aunts on a trip to Hawaii. Perhaps it was due to the time of year we went (october) but despite what other owners have stated, I found it quite easy to book (2) 2 bedroom suites for our 6 night stay...The last time we visited Hawaii we were on our honeymoon and we stayed at the complex so we knew what we were getting into in terms of massive Village, but this was an entirely different type of trip, so I will base this review on what we did this time around.
Our 2 bedroom suite was Lagoon facing and it was more of a 1 bedroom plus adjoining studio as opposed to my brother's 2 bedroom (facing the Marina) which was a true 2 bedroom (1 bedroom only had twin beds as opposed to our second bedroom which had 2 doubles...fyi). The suite is spacious and if you're used to a standard hotel room, this feels much more like an apt - full kitchen, roomy dining/living area, bedroom large enough for a king, pack and play and a blow up travel toddler bed which my 3 year old slept on) and 2 full baths. My mom and aunts took advantage of cooking in the kitchen quite often so if you can get to the grocery store, the supplies in kitchen is more than adequate. We used our kitchen for not much more than brewing coffee in the morning and storing drinks in the fridge. Best part of our suite was the view of the fireworks they did on Fridays...from our patio, they were so close, it was like you could reach out and touch them!
With 2 little ones, we spent much more time on the property this time around than I did 7 years ago, so I'm grateful for all the activities, shops and restaurants...the pool and lagoon area were always inviting (just get there early before all the seats are "taken") we frequented the cafe to go by the main pool for lunch, and the coffee/ice cream parlour onsite was a daily must. We did eat at the Benihana onsite...your typical Teppanyaki which my 4 year old loves, but if you don't want to blow a lot of cash for mediocre food, skip it) We also did the Luau onsite this time around and it was just ok...food and show (if you're really interested in doing this, try and find discounts at the concierge). There are plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops nearby if you wanted to take a stroll and since Hawaii has the most amazing weather, I suggest you do that.
As my title states, I would go back every year if it wasn't so darn far, but it was an amazing stay for folks of any age.

Go here, if you can get in - it is not easy for summer

Left on 08/19/2011 for a stay in July 2010

great place, unbelievable location. at a Marina, beside a closed Lagoon and with multiple pools to choose from plus the ocean.. can't take the water or the sun anymore, it is an eay stroll right into downtown Honolulu where they will be happy to have you shop.

of all the islands this is the one spot, not just island that does it all. going back again this year.

      Huge condo- loved staying here!

Left on 08/12/2011 for a stay in April 2011

Absolutely loved the size and cleanliness of this condo. It was perfect for my family! The hotel is amazing, the rooms were huge, the living room and kitchen were awesome and came with anything you could need. Also, although we didn't get an ocean view, we got a room on the Ilikai side and so we actually did get to have a small view of the dock and ocean. Great extra bonus. My only only complaint were that the beds were terrible. We had a hard time getting a good night's sleep on them, they were super bouncy. As soon as you moved, the whole bed shook. Maybe consider getting more firm or higher quality beds? Other than that everything was perfect and we had a great stay!

My family and I spent thanksgiving here at the lagoon tower. My kids loved spending time at the lagoon and then heading over to get those giant snow cones. You cant go to Waikiki without getting at least one snow cone.
