Island Colony is located in the heart of Waikiki. It is close to everything; world famous Waikiki beach, world class shopping, romantic dining and dancing.
We offer a wide variety of units within this property: studios with kitchenettes; one bedroom/one bath units with full kitchens; all with lanais; some with views of the ocean or Ala Wai canal; a wide variety of sleeping arrangements, just let us know your preferences.

Nice Condo and nice pool. Main complaint is condo door was right by the trash shoot. Entrance smelled like vomit and rotton garbage everytime I entered room which was unpleasant.
Condo had been remodeled and was very nice. If they every start to clean the trash shoots I would go back. -

Every morning before 6am woken up by garbage pickup. Parking not included and fees are ridiculously high.
Nicely surprised by a welcome basket.

The property was clean, room was fine. Just a "hot plate" to cook on, was a pain. The beach was a bit of a walk, but we would get up, go for breakfast the right to the beach, Great pool area, good sun most of the day there. Had BBQ there, but didn't use them.
Would stay there again, no problem.... -

We received Excellent service from Jim and Mandy. Very nice people to work with.We talked to many canadian people that stayed at this complex. I was a bit disappointed to find out everyone was paying a different rate per night.

Typical bait and switch tactics applied.First room offered was put on hold for me. Sea view (with King size bed, a priority). The following day I confirmed that I would take the rental, but was informed that it was no longer available,(another reservationist released it!!!) I was offered a room in a different complex at a more expensive rate. I refused and ended up in 2405 No King size bed (not accepable). Stayed one night before re-locating to room 807.Absolutely no view. The room was not acceptable, not prepared, not clean.The inventory was completely out of whack with room contents and utensils.

Suggest owners pay a visit. Things like burned lampshades, etc. need attention. Overall, a great value though. Recommend a supply of batteries and lightbulbs as several were burned out.

I try to distance myself from Waikiki. I prefer staying away from all the excitement and noise sometimes. Not that I'm saying I hate it but I feel it's good to come back to somewhere very nice and quiet. That's what Ilikai offers and has been offering
me during the past few years. It's definitely my number one choice. -

Just wanted to clarify the clean property comment. When we arrived our suite was not cleaned at all, so we called the property manager and there was a misunderstanding with the cleaning staff, so they immediately accommodated us and moved us to another suite with the same view etc... which was clean and very acceptable.
