The Waikiki Banyan is a very popular, moderately priced family resort only 1 block to Waikiki Beach, Kapiolani Park and Honolulu Zoo. There are fantastic amenities at the Banyan: a huge swimming pool, 2 Jacuzzis, tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, coin-operated BBQs, a putting green for the golfers and even a fitness area for the athletic. There is also a small snack shop for a quick bite to eat while you enjoy all these vast amenities! We loved Suite 3602 Tower II at the Banyan in Waikiki. The beds were comfortable - even the pull out bed. We had a few problems with the dishwasher but loved it when it was working. Loved the view and for sure we would rent the suite again and recommend it to a friend. It was so nice to have a suite instead of just a room as well as it was handy to the beach, etc.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Waikiki Banyan. The staff at Hawaiian Paradise Retreats were very helpful and courteous. the front desk staff we encountered were not helpful but they didn't have anything to do with our rental. We would stay here again! It was as presented in pictures and described by staff...loved our stay!

We rented this condo for the first two weeks in February. Phoned management from the airport when we arrived and they gave us to code for our unit. So when we arrived went directly up to condo. No waiting at check-in. We had our 10 yr. old and 15 yr. old granddaughters with us. We were very comfortable and had an nice view of the ocean and an excellent holiday!

This was our third stay with Hawaiian Paradise Retreats and it was all that we have come to expect. Easy check in. Well stocked and cared for updated suite and the usual great location close to the beach and big park. We saved money compared to other bookings and the free wireless and aprking helped even more. Looking forward to next year.

We had a wonderful vacation. We have stayed in the Banyan before so we knew what we were getting in terms of great views and location. No complaints on the unit. Was frustrating at times dealing with the Paradise staff and trying to contact them or even them getting back to us.

We enjoyed the overall experience of the condo we rented, but there were a few issues I would recommend the management llook at. First, the is no directory of services or area information, which would be helpful to visitors. The living area furniture is a bit worn and either needs cleaning or replacing. The bathtub needs scrubbing to get built up grime off the bottom. There was no soap dish in the bathroom. The toaster oven did not work and the ceramic stove top had a small crack, and although it does not effect the functioning of stove, it made us worry that we would be held responsible for damage we did not create. In spite of all these minor issues, the condo is in a great location, access upon arrival was easy and quick, and when we contacted management on a couple of the minor issues they were quick to respond. I particulalry liked the keyless entry, no more keeping track of keys or access cards! Our overall experience is still quite positive and would recommend it.

My husband and I have differing opinions but we agree overall that the accommodation was good for the price we paid. I found the mattress hard and uncomfortable but my husband was fine with it. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. The view of the ocean was great for the most part except for the building located in front and to the left blocking a full ocean view. The bathroom was fine except that the hot water temperature was not consistent which resulted in some showers feeling on the cooler side. The temperature fluctuation didn't seem to correlate with the time of day so it was hit and miss for a nice hot shower. My husband really enjoyed the sauna and the pool area was clean. Sam, the food vender on the pool deck, cooked wonderful food - especially Thai cuisine - a real highlight. All in all it was a good value for the accommodation and amenities - and located a short walk from the beach.

Suite was decorated nicely, clean, a block to Waikiki Beach, very comfy bed. We had 18mos with us & used kitchen everyday, which was well stocked. Pool was very cold, playground was closed which was disappointing. A/C not strong enough to cool & asked for fan that didn't arrive. But,wonderful view & area for restaurants/shopping/swimming in ocean. Would stay again if pool was warmer.

Hawaiian Paradise Retreats, and the room in the Banyan were the best. We come to Hawaii every year and we always choose Hawaiian Paradise Retreats and always opt for the Banyan. The only issue with the room was that the Sofa Bed kept retracting when you sat on it so 2 of us ended up sleeping on the floor. However, overall this was another great trip with Hawaiian Paradise Retreats.

This was our first vacation to Hawaii. I dreamed of going there all my life, so I wanted it to be special! I traveled with my husband and son's (ages 4-17) and location was a priority, then amenities, then price. I was very pleased with our condo at the Banyan and the property managers. We had everything we could possibly want in our condo, which reduced our vacation budget significantly! The view and location was absolutely amazing! We had friends that stayed at a real pricey hotel right on Kalakaua Ave. They came up to our condo at the Banyan, and could not believe the outstanding view, spacious accommodations and impressive amenities we received for our price. They begged me for the number of our property manager to book their next vacation.

We had a lovely and very relaxing time at 3602. This unit is by the the nicest one we've stayed in and we would happily stay again. We love the amenities including the dishwasher and big screen t.v, the kitchen itself was fully stocked and amazing and the view beyond breathtaking. Great job!!
****my only complaint was the moldy shower liner. I figure for the money we and others guests have spent, it should be replaced at least each month. Nobody likes to be next to an old and smelly liner when they are having a relaxing shower after spending the day in paradise.
