      Our stay @ The Cove

Left on 05/31/2012 for a stay in April 2012

We so enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect and our family had the peace & quiet we needed. The only thing we found uncomfortable was the 2nd bedroom needed air conditioning; the portable fan provided did nothing to alleviate the heat when sleeping. This home has 2 bedrooms that will sleep four, otherwise you must use fold-out cushions on the floor in the living room.

great first trip to the North shore

Left on 05/29/2012 for a stay in May 2012

Great accommodations...peaceful, great beach access..the owner was on site most of the time we were there and in our brief encounters with him he was very helpful and amiable...nice big yard for the kids to hunt for geckos when they weren't at the beach..short distance to downtown haleiwa and restaurants and shops. Kitchen had all the necessary tools to cook, towels and bedding available...would definitely stay here again.

      Just perfect

Left on 07/23/2010 for a stay in June 2010

Our seven night on the North Shore were just awesome and we will definitely return here. The rental house is in pristine condition: it looks like staged for a sale. (My wife loved the fancy clothes washer so much that I upgraded my old appliance with this exact LG SteamMaster model two weeks after I returned home).
Exotic plants with beutiful smells and fruits, an outside table where you can dine, and just steps away the ocean and a nice sandy beach.
Because we have such a diverse family (son 8yo wants big waves, but also snorkel, daughter 14yo smaller, and I want to mostly swim) what we likes a lot, was the large choice of beaches within 5 miles driving distance from the house. So we would have two "beach sessions" a day, morning and afternoon, trying to limit our son's "stay in the water" time to 3 hours at a time. We would decide if to go to "The Shark Cove" for snorkeling, or to the Bay (larger crows) or Sunset Beach for the larger waves, or stay around "our beach" and look for sea turtles on the shore. These are the top listed beaches in the Oahu guide and rightly so.

On the way to Sunset Beach, there is a "Foodland" supermarket, not expensive, so we didn't need to go to Costco to have everything we need for our meals.

In short: a perfect rental place in a perfect location.

Joe Murray's review of The Cove at Jocos Surf Spot

Left on 11/08/2009 for a stay in November 2009

Joe and I had a wonderful time at Jocko's, the house was bright, spacious and clean and the location was fantastic for surfing, lying on the beach, going for walks or driving down the road to the shops and restaurants.
      Fantastic house, location and holiday!
With thanks from Lucy and Joe.

      Great stay at Haleiwa

Left on 10/26/2009 for a stay in October 2009

Loved the location of the property - very easy access to the beach and location was close to old town, Shark's Cove and Waimea Bay and Falls. Enjoyed sunrise and sunset from beach. House was very clean and comfortable. Would absolutely rent again and recommend to others.
