Great cottage 1.2 miles away from Waikiki beach, near supermarkets, movie theaters and yet, secluded in the hills of Makiki Heights with beautiful ocean, Diamond Head and City views. This property sleeps 4 comfortably and it has 1 large bathroom, 2 bedroom, TV room, gourmet kitchen, a huge outside lanai for great entertaining, parking for 4 cars, W/D, ceiling fans, 2 flat screen TVs, and super quite and breezy.

Loved the place, loved the location! Parking and finding the cottage for the first time were tricky- more specific information prior to arrival would have been helpful, but once we arrived, any questions we had were answered immediately and so friendly!!!

We were here for business/pleasure, and it was a nice, quiet little place above the owners garage. We loved the "Hawaii" feel with the jealousy windows & lanai. Obtaining a cash payment in Hawaii was a bit tricky, so if you are careful, you may wish to bring it all in advance. That was one turn off. Also just FYI, we didn't see a playground or kayak, and the internet was locked, so you'll have to get the key. But we enjoyed the comforts of home, making our meals in the nice little kitchen. Overall we liked the place.

Thanks for your kind words, We do appreciate the feedback and we enjoyed having your family as guests. Just to clarify; the backyard is behind the big property which it is open for guests use, we are not sure what you mean by "playground", the Kayak is right under the stairway which it is easily noticeable and our guests are welcome to use it, you should have asked me but I understand. The internet is locked but I did tell you the name and password upon your arrival and again, you can just ask if you have questions and we will be happy to answer all your questions. As for the cash or check payment, we tell all of our guests that we do not accept credit cards but people forget with the excitement of coming to Hawaii. Thanks again for your feedback, it is always welcome.

It is in a quite area overlooking the hub of Honolulu and only minutes from it, shops, etc. - convenient to everything. The balcony at the front was our favourite spot - a real treasure.
It was clean, comfortable and well kitted with everything we wanted. The owners were friendly and non-obtrusive. We could not have wanted more. It was so much better than cold and small multi-storey accommodation - there is no comparison. We are so glad we opted for this type of accommodation and this place in particular. -

This was one of the nicest places, the pictures really don't do the location justice. Myself and 3 other adult friends stayed here for a week, It was perfect location for us. It was great to be able to retreat away from the busyness of Waikiki/ downtown Honolulu. During the night we would open the windows and enjoy the island breeze. The beds were a little firm for my taste but other then that it was a great stay. Actually one of the girls with us decided to sleep out on the balcony for a few nights and she loved it. our group is already talking about our next trip back and we will defiantly try to stay here again. Jose was a very gracious host and we enjoined our interactions with him.

Everything was great, especially the location, the hosts and the house.
The location is very convenient and very close to everything.

The Two Bedroom Condo/Bungalow was very hip/zin, clean and had all the eminities of home but hidden away from the mob at waikiki. As one who enjoys the finer things in life it is abosolutely the place i would stay again when visiting Waikiki. Jose and his family were great, and truly made the trip even more enjoyable - they made it feel like home away from home - Great people, Great Place.

The cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood, just minutes from shopping and beaches. We were so pleased to see that the home was even more beautiful than in the photos, and clean! Owners provided bathroom amenities and stocked the kitchen with water, soft drinks, and coffee. Beds were really comfortable. We'd definitely stay here again!
We visit Oahu often and have paid more to stay in tiny hotel rooms, driving around the parking lot just to find a stall. We loved having all the extra space, the convenience of a kitchen and laundry facilities, and free parking! This stay, we were on island for a medical procedure, and really appreciated having all the comforts of home.
An extra surprise if you are there on Fridays...you can see the Waikiki fireworks from the bedroom or the relaxing, beautiful lanai. Thank you Jose and Joanne, for a wonderful stay.Response from Jose Jube - 03/20/2012
