Left on 01/02/2013 for a stay in December 2012
The place is located one block from the waikiki beach and right next to the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center. Plenty of stores, nightlife, and restaurants in the area. There isalso an aBC store next door but we only shop there for emergency stuff. To give you an example, they charge $12 for a gallon of regular milk.
The 2 bedroom suite was furnished with updated modern furniture. Parking is onsite although somewhat expensive- $30 a night for Valet. The room is spacious ( there were nine of us) and we made good use of the Full kitchen and laundry amenities.
This is a vacation resort and the agent will try to get you to attend a presentation. we declined to attend and that was the end of it.
Getting to the resort from the Freeway is somewhat cumbersome due to Waikiki traffic. I would recommend to not rent a car if you plan on staying just for a few days. There are affordable shuttle transports to pearl harbor, The Polynesian CC and as well as Hanuama Bay.
I would come back to this resort on our next visit to Hawaii.
