This is a must stay location. When we drove up we were not sure about this cottage but after going inside...Wow! The inside was very up to date and huge. The bedroom was quiet and plenty of room to move around. Large closet, comfortable queen bed, desk. Bath with great large tiled shower and washer and dryer. One step down was Kitchen, dining living area. 25' of counter space. updated appliances, bar and sliding door to patio overlooking Underwood Hills and Mt. Adams. Owners wonderful and next door. They let you have privacy but were very friendly and answered your questions. Alison had little chickens and three roosters plus a new batch of chicks. Each evening she would let them out and they were funny little guys. Remember Roosters like to crow but we loved the experience. She gave us fresh eggs that were wonderful. John took my husband golfing one afternoon and he still talks about seeing Mt. Adams one way and Mt. Hood the other on swings. He enjoyed getting to know John and what brought them to Hood River as much as I did alison and her showing me the new chicks. Sadie their black dog was a joy as she would check on you each day, did not bark and did not insist on constant petting. Just a hello, how ya doing and on her way. Very nice dog! This is a llittle jewell just a couple of miles from town in the country a block away from a winery. A must stay as location is perfect for everything from Mt. Hood, Gorge, waterfalls Hood River and right across the gorge is Washington state. Liked it so much booked another day. Great price.

Actually, this was my third stay at the studio. I just love it. It's nice it's cozy, it's got a great view of Mt. Adams and it's close to everthing. The bed is comfy, the movie selection is great the kitchen is good sized and easy to prepare meals in. I like the Ipod attacment as well. My sister and I love to sit on the patio and have our cocktails after hiking and before dinner. We've already reserved the studio for our ski trip in early Feb. We're looking forward to it. We really like their fuzzy kid Sadie. So be sure to bring a box of dog treats with you. The only negative thing I have to say is that the coffee maker is too small. I brought my Cuisinart with me last time, since it makes 10 cups. I strongly recommend this property. It's really a find.

I have been to the studio 3 times now and would recommend it to anyone. I found the studio gave me comforts as if I were at home and enjoyed each time thoroughly. John and alisen are such wonderful people and they made me feel at home in their lovely place which included such beautiful surroundings.

We were looking for a clean and quiet gettaway while in Hood River for a family wedding. Studio on Post Canyon was perfect! It offered a nice bed and linens, large walk in shower, a great kitchen and floor plan. We had a friend stay with us and it worked quite well for three! Elegant yet simple with a real "Hood River" atmosphere! We look forward to returning in the future.
