Cliff House is located on Lubbers Quarters Cay in Abaco, Bahamas. The house sits about 50 feet above the Sea of Abaco. It has three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and two full baths. It can accommodate up to 6 people. It has its own dock and a slip in the marina. It has a swimming pool (20 feet by 10 feet) built into the deck facing the ocean. The location is opposite from Tilloo cut, which takes you out into the Atlantic from the Sea of Abaco.

Huge Living Room / Kitchen with cathedral ceiling with 16 foot sliding doors which opens up to 10 foot wide deck with an unbelievable view. Three bedrooms, two... full baths.

Additional Location Information

Cliff House is located on Lubbers Quarters Cay, a small island between Great Abaco Island to the west and Elbow Cay and Tilloo Cay to the east. Hope Town on Elbow Cay with its candy striped lighthouse is probably Abaco's most well known place. Marsh Harbour International Airport, MHH, is where you fly into unless you come on a boat.

This location is ideal for you who want to get away from the crowds, but still be close to restaurants and shopping. This is because you can only get here by boat (rental or your own). There is no ferry.

You will be very close to nature with a spectacular view of the Sea of Abaco, Elbow Cay, Cooper Jack Cay, Tilloo Cut, Tilloo Cay and the Atlantic Ocean. Sometimes you will see dolphins, sting rays and turtles just below the balcony. There are lots of birds quite unafraid of people.

The property is located in Abaco Ocean Club on the south part of Lubbers Quarters Cay. Less than 15 people live here permanently. This increases during the winter months to an additional 50 Second Homeowners. There are no commercial establishments in Abaco Ocean Club. However, Sunshine Bakery can deliver pizza and fantastic cakes. A short golf cart drive away north of Abaco Ocean Club, Lubbers Landing has bar and can also serve a light fare. There is a nice restaurant north of Abaco Ocean Club, (Cracker P's) but no roads to get there. Access is only by boat.

This is a fairly quiet place with few tourists, yet close to Hopetown when you want to shop or go to a restaurant. Contact us for more details!

  Our Unforgettable Cliff House Vacation

  We spent our 10 day vacation at this beautiful house and I would say this place fulfilled all my dreams about the ocean and tropical beaches. The Cliff House itself really lives up to its name. It sits high on a huge cliff, which gives it a perfect height and distance from the ocean. Even though the house is perched above the bay, it takes just a minute to walk down the wooden stairway to the dock and the beach itself. Speaking of the views, I have to point out my favorite highlight of this house, the swimming pool area: the place where I spent most of my leisure time. I often lost myself sitting on the bench while facing the turquoise bay, the nearby islands and the open ocean in the distance. There is such a wonderful feeling here of being totally embraced by the beauty of the nature. We stayed on the upper level where one master bedroom and two twin bedrooms are connected by a large kitchen and a living room. This structure lets everyone in the family stay close together, but provides enough space and privacy for each person. Spending our vacation here made routine parts of my daily life turn into special and pleasurable moments. My most enjoyable moment was to watch the sunrise in bed through a large French window in my bedroom every morning. Even the time spent in the bathroom became more pleasant with the pretty picture made with local seashells by Lixia, our friendly hostess. During these 10 days, I witnessed all kinds of weather, from sunshine to rain. One evening I was very excited to watch a thunderstorm from my room. It was surprising to discover that lightning across the dark sky here could be that astonishingly beautiful. Another thing I'd also like to point out is that it's very close from where we stayed to other islands and beaches, including Hopetown and Tahiti Beach, which is definitely a day-trip you won't want to miss! Our vacation here was unforgettable,and I can't wait for my next Cliff House vacation!

  If you like sun, cool breezes, beautiful water views, a wonderful secluded location, some great Chinese cooking tips, billions of stars, gorgeous shells, and a quiet that will pull relaxation from the back of the brain, this place is a sure bet. The quiet is a result of a location without roads and traffic, an island close to other beautiful cays and a gentile level of activity for the 15 plus residences. The property is new and very well equipped, including a gourmet kitchen, well appointed furnishings and a wonderful shell collection. We were there for a short time, too little once the calm and peace of the location settled in. Its just a wonderful place to relax with no plans and island time. ( No hands on the clock). Only regret was that the stay was not two weeks instead of one. Did not think I could get that slow but did. When you see the eastern view, the beautiful water colors and the billions of stars, you will understand its great appeal. David and the group
