The Laurel View offers eight bedrooms with four baths. The home easily accommodates 20 guests. Stayed at Laurel View Retreat the week of our daughter's wedding at Fallingwater. Our guest included family and friends of the bride and groom and we hosted a dinner there the night before the wedding for friends and family. Stonehouse catered and the house was perfect for this event. The view is incredible from this location. The layout offers privacy and is like home away from home.

Our weekend was wonderful! Even though we had a little trouble finding the house (the directions are not quite precise and our GPS took us too far), upon arriving, there was nothing I would change. We would definitely return.

The house was beautiful and very accomadating to a large crowd. Disappointed in the flimsy bath towels, no curtains on the bathroom and bedroom windows and only three dish towels in the kitchen.

We absolutely loved our stay in the beautiful Laurel View Retreat! We had a large group of family and close friends, ranging in age from 13 to 59, and the house was just great for everyone. There was plenty of room for us to spread out and do our own thing, or have a nice group dinner out on the porch and deck. The view was amazing, and the rental company was very organized and on top of things. Thanks for a great trip, we hope to be back next year!

Overall, a good experience. The property was well kept, in a great location and was very relaxing. The property has some age, which is expected for the area, but even with that, it was overall very clean and nice. A couple of items that the management company can address to make it top notch...
1. It's advertised as having AC. There are only 3 window units in the 3 largest bedrooms. Invest a little money and install some large units on the first would have made it much better
2. Replace the upstairs toilet...the valves and float were in disrepair
3. A bigger porch table with more chairs is recommended. The rental can sleep 18 and there are only 8 chairs on the porch
4. Get some non stick cookware. With the electric stove, cooking breakfast..or anything on the stove, was a bit of a challenge.
Even with these shortcomings, I would stay there again...and our family is pretty picky! -

Excellent rental some. Two issues to improve on... I believe the description indicated that there was central air conditioning... we only found air in two bedrooms. Also, the hot tub could have used a little cleaning.
Other than that... it was excellent...wish we could have stayed longer. -

Just a few miles away from OHIOPYLE, Nemacolin Resort, Laurel Caverns, Falling Water, hiking, kayaking, fishing and more. Unbelievable th someplace so beautiful is right in my backyard (an hour from Pittsburgh) . My entire family of six loved this house. We used the swimming pool and hot tub daily.We used the firepit to roast marshmallows. With eight bedrooms all four of my kids had their own bedroom and we even had a party one night and invited people to come stay with us. Being the inaugural guest was an honor.
