This is a beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath home that sits right on Lake Hamilton (400 ft of lake frontage). Located just off of Carpenter Dam Rd, this home is very close to Garvan Woodland Gardens. Has a wonderful view of the water, and outside BBQ grill, 3 seperate patios overlooking the lake, 2 boatslips, 1 boat house, and 2 swim docks. Very beautifully decorated this home has a king bed and a sleeper sofa in the master suite with a large 2 person jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. This house was tucked away in a very wooded area and several of us thought that we would be playing a part in a "wrong turn" movie. Lol.
Once we entered the home we could not believe the space of the property and soon realized that we could have invited at least four more couples and their children.
The house had at least four sleeper sofas, or at least that's when I stopped counting, besides the four bedrooms. My family, since I have the most member, enjoyed the upstairs master suite. This property access to the lake is amazing and have a nice little barge/deck to enjoy the serenity of the lake and it looked like every bedroom had a view and deck access of the lake.
I hope to be able to enjoy this one again as we travel our state more.
Ohhh and do not touch the bidet in the master suite upstairs, owner should have removed. -

We stayed at this property June 22-29 2011. The house is huge and provided ample space for our group of twelve. The area is beautiful and the lake is clean. The water at the swim dock was deep enough for diving and jumping without fear of injury. The house is well furnished with adequate dishes and utensils. However, if you intend to cook a very large meal, then you might come up short on pots, pans, and/or skillets. All of the TVs are updated to LCD and the satellite service includes some movie channels. There are two huge water heaters that provide plenty of hot water... maybe a little too hot, be careful.
Our complaints include the cleanliness of the house and the very limited wi-fi. The toilets, tubs, and sinks were cleaned well but the carpets, baseboards, windows, and "nooks and crannies" were neglected. As for the wi-fi, the router is located about 100 yards outside the house at the flag pole. Basically the only room with wi-fi is the master bedroom upstairs.
Overall, we are happy that we rented this property and would recommend it to others.
