No houses on either side of you, Across the road is the National park forest and 1000 acres of woods and trails that take you anywhere around the city. 32 foot in ground private swimming pool, Big Jacuzzi Tub, Big lawn, 3 bedrooms, living room- plus peace and quiet. Woods and trees in all directions. Fenced front lawn ideal for small humans or pets.

Enjoy the tranquility of this lovely, newly remodeled vacation home . Enjoy the beauty of being nestled in the National Forest with all the modern conveniences you desire. With scenic serenity and easy access to the sights, you get the best of both worlds. Property is just a little under 2 miles away from historic downtown Hot Springs (2.3 miles from Convention center-4.5 miles to the Oaklawn Race Track)and bordering thef the National Park. Trail 200 feet from the property connects with the 10 mile Sunset trail that snakes its way around the outskirts of downtown- (and to downtown if you like to walk). youtube 1000 acres trail.

Hike up the mountain on any number of trails available starting 200 feet from the property line, Enjoy the short but scenic drive a few minutes down a winding road to Gulpha Gorge National Park camp ground and recreation area. If it's thrills you seek, Magic Springs Amusement Park is less than a 10 minute drive from your door, and it's 25 minutes to the sun and sailing of sparkling Lake Ouachita-3rd cleanest lake in the country- They rent motor boats for $55 for a 1/2 day .

At night, since we have no street lights, Its dark enough and secluded enough to actually see the stars, constellations. There is a 5 room small cave just 2 miles away , type "Secret cave Hot Springs" on youtube

Children will enjoy swimming in your own in-ground 32 ft pool (6.5 ft deep in center) or playing croquet, hide and seek or Frisbee in the idyllic backyard. Take a walk in on the trails, and you will appreciate the convenience of being close to local restaurants, spa treatments, Mid-America Science Museum, Oaklawn Race Course, Lakes Ouachita and Hamilton and much more.

Note- This is the only vacation rental close to the city that is secluded and borders the National park. The slow road has about 10 cars driving on it per day so its a great road for kids playing or on bikes

Spend some time warming up after a swim with the wood-burning fireplace or melting away sore muscles in the over sized Jacuzzi bath.

If you need to stay connected to the outside, we offer free wireless internet connection and a computer. The house has central heat and air conditioning.

Mountain Bike supplied for biking on the mountain trails-. Carport and plenty of safe parking

Basketball, Croquet, Badminton, Foosball, Volleyball, Horseshoes, swimming, hiking

Sleeping setup

Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed (sleeps two)

Bedroom 2 has a Queen bed (sleeps two)

Bedroom 3 has a full size bed (sleeps two)

Family Room has 1 Sleeper Sofa (sleeps two) and two full size futons (each one can hold one or two children) also a another couch

If 12 or more people there will be an additional 10.00 per person per night.

Pets OK, $10 per day extra per pet

Please no pets over 50lbs without prior approval

Based on the size of group and/or pets a security deposit may be required and will be refunded 48 hours after your stay.

NOTE: Check in time 3pm Check out time is 11am - Depending on schedule - changes in early in/late out time may be possible with prior arrangement. There is a minimum reservation of 3 days during peak season May 10 - Aug 15. ALL RESERVATIONS MUST BE FOR 3 DAYS OR LONGER during peak season.

For Memorial Day, Independence Day /July 4th and Labor Day weekends add an additional $50.00 per night.

If you want, Google Map '182 Russell Hot Springs AR', the satellite button for a birds eye view, keep in mind the roads in the woods past the house are gated and now trails for walking. Many miles of hiking right from the front door.
