We took a family vacation and after extensive searching for the right place to rent for a week stay, we chose this home! The customer service during two phone calls prior to our visit should have alerted us but we gave it a chance anyway. First of all, the rent wasn't 600.00/week, it ended up costing us 813.00. We arrived on the first day to a home that was set on 90 degrees (the rules state, 80 degrees) and it was 100 degrees outside. We tried to turn the air down but after 3-4 hours the home wasn't cooling off at all!!! We loaded up our family and traveled to Wal-Mart just to cool off! When we returned to the home to see that it was still showing 80, we phoned the Hot Springs Village Rentals/Century 21, to inform them of the situation. The lady was not happy that I had phoned her at home over this. She informed me that due to the outside temp being so hot, that it was hard for these homes to cool down and I probably wouldn't see much lower than 78 degrees in the home. We told her that my husband checked the air filter and it was filthy. Against her better judgement, she called and had an air condition repair man come out. The repair man was at the home until 12 midnight...fixing the air condition unit because it wasn't working properly. During his visit we continued to smell an awful smell in the home. Come to find out there were dead animals in the garage of the home, which we were having to smell!!! The entire home smelled awful! When trying to get all children ready for showers (so they could cool off ), all three bathrooms had mold on the shower curtains. I phoned her back to inform her of the mold, which is not healthy, and once again acted as if we were annoying her. The second morning of vacation, we noticed that none of the food that we purchased was staying cold in the refrigerator. Once again we called the office and told them that we were having to pack our food into coolers because of the refrigerator. We stayed in our home again and waited on the repair man to fix the refrigerator because he stated it wasn't cooling properly. Some food we purchased was spoiled. We are continuing to smell the dead animals the second day as well! We continued to find personal items of other renters under the beds, under the sheets and in the furniture. I'm not sure how this was missed if the home was cleaned properly after each renter!!! We had to literally clean this home from top to bottom before beginning our vacation and not to mention, it took a good several days for the home's air conditioner to cool the home as well as the refrigerator to work properly!!! There is mold in the basement and smells awful!!! My children hated going downstairs due to the smell. Hot Springs Village Rentals/Century 21 was not very accommodating when we spoke with them. They weren't going to make any resolutions with us at all then reluctantly offered to credit a one night stay. How kind!!! We wasted several days of our vacation getting the home that we paid 800.00+ for, ready for us to stay in for a week! Not to mention the miserable temperature in the home, awful smell and a non-working refrigerator!!! Hsvr/century 21 was rude, not customer motivated and very unprofessional! I do not recommend them at all!!! I would hate knowing that any other family went through what we did! Families work hard now a days to be able to afford vacations and we definitely don't enjoy throwing our money out of the window! I have checked with Department of Health and they violated code regulations due to accepting money for a rental and not providing liveable conditions. I will continue to follow up on this until proper restitution is made on their behalf!!!

We rented this house and a townhouse to contain a big family trip. However, this house was big enough to hold all of us. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 king bed, 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds and 5 couches. 1 lets out to a bed. There are stairs where 1 of the bedrooms and bathroom and another living room is located. 2 large decks outside overlooking the woods. My only issues is no wifi- there is internet connection in only 1 room. There are only 2 television in this entire house and they are in the living room. Would like if tv's were in the bedroom. And all the bathrooms are carpeted.

My husband and I and some friends of ours were looking forward to exploring Hot Springs. We loved the house. It was spacious with a balcony looking into the trees. We spent every morning watching the birds and squirrels playing as we had breakfast on the balcony. The service we received as we checked in was nice. Plenty of towels which is a plus! Being in Hot Springs Village in itself is a treat. Riding up and down the roads had plenty of scenery to see and not far from Hot Springs itself.
