I was planning a trip to Houston to go to the MD anderson Clinic. There are plenty of hotel rooms near the hospital but they are expensive. Some of the hotels offer a kitchenette, however they are not as nice as this place. This place is exactly as shown. We stayed in the Tuscany apartment and it worked out perfect. We were about 45 minutes from the medical center due to construction on I-45. All the rooms were very clean and the owners leave amenities as if you were in a hotel room (i.e. coffee, snacks). When I first contacted the owner I was skeptical, however "Frank" did worked was great to deal with.
The location of the complex is great. You are right between Galveston and Houston. In addition you are close to the Kemah Boardwalk area. Considering my wife is ill we did not want to be “cooped” up in a hotel. The whole area has been recently built-up. There are brand new strip malls and store very close. It was great we went to Targets (which had food too) to purchase all our supplies for our stay. This place is also very close to the Johnson Space Center. I would recommend this place for others who need to visit MD anderson, for Golf Weekends, and for family vacation. We definitely will be staying here again when we come back to the area. -
