We've just returned from a wonderful 3 month stay at Beach Penthouse and, from the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble for Beatrice, the owner, who ensured that we had everything we needed to make our holiday memorable. The apartment is light and bright, very comfortable and beautifully presented. Its panoramic views of the whole bay are stunning and its central location in Hout Bay is really convenient for all local amenities. We loved our holiday so much that we are definitely returning soon!

Wow!! What a pleasant stay!! We were welcomed by the housekeeper that showed the penthouse,explained how everything works and answered all our questions. Beatrice the owner is very friendly, helpfull end accomodating. Our kids loved it as well and Beatrice accomodated our third child by providing an extra bed. The view is spectacular! The penthouse is fully equipped and every need is attend to. The decor is beautiful and practical. The penthouse's location is central and you can walk to the shopping centres, restaurants and beach. We loved our stay and definitely only stay in the Beach House Penthouse when we visit Cape Town again. On our return to Bloemfontein we recommended the Penthouse to all our friends and family.

Having a incredible view of Hout bay and Chapman's peak from the balcony. just sit, relax and listen to the waves. A semi-quiet penthouse as it's located on the main road. However I was most impressed with the value for money for the size of this place and the service i received from the staff. I short walk across the main road and you have a supermarket or if you prefer dining out, plenty of restaurants down the road. And if you can handle the fish smell then there are many fish eateries at the harbor area. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

We are delighted with the house, the location, the interiors, the furniture and the service that Beatrice & team provided was very pleasing.
Beatrice was very helpful and kind enough. As we are strict vegetarians she even helped us with new pans for cooking.
All in all, it is a *** experience. -

This apartment has all the mod coms you could need. It is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Views from the balcony are superb. Beatrice and her staff were very helpful and friendly. There are several restuarants within in easy access and a supermarket directly opposite. Would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed in the Penthouse from Christmans just over New Year and liked it very much! The pre arrival conversation with beatrice worked very well, the flat is very nice and gave us the immediate feeling of being at home. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfasts on the balcony with the beautiful view. The penthouse is well situated as all facilities including beach are in walking distance. So all in all we had a very nice stay and can only recommend the venue!

Superb appartment with stunning sea view in a very quiet environment. Very clean with cosy furnitures and decoration, my wife and I simply felt like home. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic stay in one of the most beautiful place in South africa. Absolutely great experience!!

My children will not forget the wonderful breakfast on the balcony looking at Hout`s Bay amazing landscape. We felt like at home. The owners were most helpful with all our needs (extra bed, internet access, tourist guides, tourism tips).
The Beach Penthouse, where we spent four nights, has everything a family will need for a relaxing holiday time, very well communicated to all main attractions in Cape Town.
We loved the careful details.
Would love to return if we had the chance!

We visited Beach Penthouse for my Birthday and served as a getaway from work as well. The cosy penthouse was the perfect place. From the uninterrupted sea views, the outer tranquil deck, dreamy kitchen to the king's palace bedroom - beachpenthouse is the place to be. Perfectly located in Houtbay, close to a shopping complex, the beach and safely secured. I personally recommend highly for a week away with your partner. Thanks for the lovely stay.

This was everything one would expect and more!! Close to all required ammendites, a short walk to the beach, safety, comfort , clean, lovely area, great value. Awesome views views views...going forward this is my holiday home. Beatrice my family absolutely adored the accommadation thank you so much for hosting us

On arrival a bottle of complementary wine and flowers were waiting, this was a nice touch. The aparment is very well equipped and beautifully decorated. The view is fabulous. Within walking distance from the beach, restaurants and shops. We liked the fact that we could take a walk to the restaurants at night. Location is good for trips to Cape Town or other parts along the coast.

The apartment is very nice, comfortable and newly renovated - very lovely and spacious. Everything you need for a holiday is provided for - in the kitchen, bathroom and living-room. The view is wonderful over Hout Bay and to Sentinel. The apartment is just opposite Checkers and some restaurants are in walking distance which makes it easy to leave the car in a safe parking lot. Unfortunately, it?s a bit noisy from the street (Main Street) so we couldn?t open the windows at night. It would be nice to have a daily cleaning service.In summary, it is a very nice and modern apartment with great view and we spent a lovely holiday there.

The unit was well equiped with all essentials one would need from a home away from home. It had wonderful ocean views and the sunsets was magnificent. I would recommend it to anyone. Well worth it.

Beatrice and Ingar have been more than helpful to us during our 2 visits to their apartment. The property is perfect for us, the location and the amenities are ideal for the type of holiday we like. We love the view and the close proximity to the beach, shops restaurants etc. We don't like all the steps but they keep us fit !! The dogs next door are a bit much at 7am every day howling and barking, but would not stop us returning.

The funicular has been working perfectly since they replaced the entire remote control system last year. The dogs - I think the other neighbours made a plan?! I havent heard about them again?! If not please keep us posted. We love ALL reviews - keeps us on our tippy toes - we all need that to be good guest house owners.
