Pissouri, CyprusBeautiful grounds
Left on 01/19/2013 for a stay in January 2013
The pictures of the grounds were what attracted us to this apartment and we were not disappointed. They are even better than in the photos and are immaculately maintained. There was always room at the pool, even at weekends when the complex does get a lot busier.
The apartment is out of town towards Khao Takiab, but the bus runs by every 10 minutes from 7am to 7pm and then every 15 minutes from 7pm to 9pm and tuk tuks are readily available for the return journey at a cost of 150 THB. A visit to the Cicada market which is open Friday to Sunday is highly recommended and this is within easy walking distance.
The apartment itself could do with a little TLC, especially a paint and deep cleaning of the bathrooms. The kitchen area is tiny with no surface to prepare food, but does have a kettle, microwave and toaster and hob. The master bedroom is large and comfortable. I would recommend the apartment for families, not 2 couples as the second bedroom does not have a lot of space. We did not find the living area particularly comfortable, but enjoyed our stay and the grounds of this apartment complex would be hard to beat. -

Hong Kong, ChinaPerfect Rental in Hua Hin
Left on 10/26/2012 for a stay in October 2012
This apartment is perfect for those looking to visit Hua Hin. Gunny was very helpful, answered all my emails quickly and really made our stay stress free. I was traveling with my 3-year old and 5-year old. I was a little nervous the river might not be at our meeting point since our flight arrived a bit early and we got through customs quickly, but he was there with a great big smile on his face. We were driven down in a big very clean van, which I appreciated because it allowed the kids the freedom to move around a little. When we showed up at the apartment, the sign in process was quick and my kids were on the beach moments later. There is a 7-11 and a few restaurants across the street. We normally just caught the 10 baht/person bus/taxi and went into town. The front desk staff spoke very limited English, but were very friendly and helped us call a taxi for the days we wanted to venture a little further out. The apartment met all our needs, although counter space is a little limited. The buttons on the microwave are all in Thai, but if you push the button second from the bottom, it will cook food in 30 second intervals. All the Tuk Tuk drivers knew were the apartment was, so we had no problem getting home. We paid 150 baht to get from the night market/beach to the apartment. The best part was the bed in the master bedroom - it was so comfortable. I find most beds very hard, but not this one. I would return to the apartment just for the bed. Gunny also organized transportation back to Bangkok for us. I would definitely stay here again and was already hoping to return at CNY or Easter, but the apartment is already booked up so I guess it will have to be for a different time. Thank you Gunny!

Right from my first correspondence with Gunny to being dropped off back in Bangkok all went smoothly.
We were met at the airport and taken straight to the apartment where we were met by Gunny's sister-in-law. She showed us around the apartment and we were settled in, in less than 10 minutes. The apartment exactly as promised on Ta, so we were very happy. We were by the pool in the next 10 minutes, relaxing away till we went out for dinner.
As other reviewers have stated, you catch the green taxi outside the apartments and costs only 10 baht each way per person to get to Hua Hin centre. 15 baht between 7-9pm. Yuk tuks back cost 150 baht max.
We had breakfast every morning bar Tuesday (closed) at the Coffee bed and breakfast diagonally opposite. First shop in the row. Great coffee and hosts.
Great place to stay if you are planning a trip to Hua Hin. -

Hong Kong, ChinaThe best condo in Hua Hin
Left on 06/23/2012 for a stay in June 2012
The booking process was fast and easy. Great comunication with the owner. Pick up, organized by the owner was on time. One dissapointment was on check in. Driver had no idea who was supposed to meet us at the property do sign a contract. I was expected Somjet, but nobody was there at the time. Thank's to the driver, he called to Somjet and his wife arrived in 5 minutes and she gave us a key and contract. check out was on time, fast and easy, deposit has been returned in full.
The condo grounds and pools was amazing! Very clean and just so beautifull! So relaxing, not much people, lots of plants and trees. location was good too. Right opposite was 7-11 and pharmacy, some bars and restaurants. Walkable distance to Cicada market.
there not so easy to catch a taxi right on the road , better to ask a phone number of tuk tuk on reception and call. ussually they are arriving in 10 min and costs 150-200 B to down town.
The apartment was in good condition, right like on the pictures. I would add just couple of things, that would be great for families:
Iron and ironing board would be great to have.
Would be good to replace a microvave somewhere, cuz no warking space around the stove, for those people who prefer to cook at home. That part was a bit uncomfortable.
But overall we really enjoyed our stay at Baan Sansuk.
Thank you Gunny. -

From Booking to Departure the Service from Gunny & Somjet were excellent.
We arrived at Bangkok airport at 8 pm Sunday night and after an Hour & Half to get through Immigration we were met by the Driver organised by Gunny to take us to the appartment in Hua Hin cost 2500B, good value, as it saved us having to stay in Bangkok 1 night and then get to Hua Hin.
We were met at the appartment by Somjet at about midnight, he then took us to our room, we were very pleased with the appartment very clean..
We liked the rental as it had seperate rooms compared to a Hotel room.
The Condo Baan Sansuk itself was very quiet not many others there, the Pools are wonderful at any time, the large wicker chairs inviting you to just relax. The beach is clean and the water ok to swim, most of the time we walked to Khao Takieb beach about 20 mins, as you can rent an umbrella & chairs for 50b each for the day, whereas the beach area in front of most of the hotels don't have chairs on the beach in this area.
. The food selection was incredible we just love the Thai food, we like the street food the flavour is wonderful.
We hired a Car and drove south to Pranburi then onto Ko Kolak beach and the area of Pak Nam Pran this area is a beautiful drive along the coast, but you can see that in a few years it will be built out. We also went to Cha am similar to Hua hin.
Overall our time at the appartment was great, we enjoyed Hua Hin would rent again and recommend to others. Well done Gunny -

We fully agree with previous reviews and thoroughly recommend this Condo. Gunny arranged transport from the airport and Somjet warmly welcomed us on arrival, he also took us on very enjoyable personalised outings to local places of interest.
The development is beautifully kept and the staff charming.
The Condo is ideally situated on the edge of the busy part of town with restaurants, 7/11 supermarket, launderette, pharmacy, etc. within a few minutes' walk.
There are easy transport links into town by bus or taxi.
The perfect location to be as busy or as peaceful and relaxed as you wish."

Left on 08/25/2011 for a stay in August 2011
Gunny organised everything for us - a big thanks for making our holiday so great!. From start to finish everything was looked after for us. The location of this fantastic apartment is just perfect close to great restaurants (even a 7/11 across the road) right next to the beach and really central for all the site seeing activities. Gunny arranged for us to be picked up at the airport by Somjet, who speaks good English, he was waiting for us when we arrived and took us to the door of our apartment. Then with him we were able to organise our personalised guided tours of the new Floating Market, Vineyard, Elephants and golf - all at a great price.
The apartment itself was lovely, nice and clean, with all the utilises needed. And the beautiful swimming pools make it hard to leave...We will definatley be coming back!!! -

Sydney, AustraliaBetter than a 5 star hotel - I'll be back!
Left on 08/17/2011 for a stay in April 2011
This is my 2nd time staying at this condo and I can't wait to visit again. We only had 5 days but still well worth the flight from australia. This really is better than staying at a 5 star resort - you pretty much have over 200 metres of swimming pools all to yourself! Nearly all of the apartments in this condo are owned by wealthy thais who use them a couple of weekends per year. That means most of the time the place is wonderfully quiet and totally relaxing. There's more staff keeping the place looking beautiful than visitors! My partner and I spend days lazing around the pool, and evenings walking along the beach and trying new restaurants, or heading to markets. There's no restaurant at the complex, it's more like self catering with a reception to help you with any problems like making phone calls or arranging cabs. But, there's restaurants everywhere including next door so actually better than being in a hotel where you eat at the same place every night. The condo is 10 mins from town so perfect distance for some piece and quiet on the beach, and a 10 Baht hop into town to go shopping. Gunny (the owner) arranged our airport transfer, and Jade (the driver) was a lovely guy who we also arranged a day trip with out to a beatiful waterfall where we saw a wild elephant and swam amongst millions of fish and butterflies, and then had lunch at a surprisingly good winery (started by a Frenchman)! If you want somewhere to truly relax and take the days at your own pace I can't speak highly enough about this place. Better still, it's an absolute bargain!

Left on 07/21/2011 for a stay in June 2011
We have been travelling to Thailand since 1991. Baan Sansuk in Hua hin was our first vacation rental experience and won't be our last. Baan Sansuk is an ideal place for enjoying lazy days by the fantastic pool and the beach. Somjet (brother of the owner) is an warm gentleman who has been a pleasure to meet. If you like the space, peace and quiet without the heavy price tag. This is the perfect place for a family holiday. Location is perfect if you don't like staying up late or be willing to pay 150 BHT for transport to the busy areas of Hua Hin. We enjoyed our stay so much, we tried to book it again in January. Unfortunately someone beat us to it but we'll be back. Many Thanks Gunny and Somjet!

We came here for 8 nights for a relaxing holiday and had a brilliant time. From the moment we arrived to when we left everyone was so polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was great, really well maintained and very comfortable and the pool was heaven after a long day spent shopping/sightseeing/ at the beach. The other standout was the local food, it was exceptional! Also a special thankyou to Somjet for taking us out to see the vineyards and the waterfall, that was really a highlight of our trip.
Thanks so much, we will be back -

ery nice place for family vacation. Pool area is just perfect! Apartment is also very nice and clean. Location of the apartment very good, 7/11 across the street, some restaurants close by for lunch and dinner. Easy to access Hua Hin city by tuk tuk, taxi or "local bus". Security guys were very nice, helping you to catch a taxi and giving a drive with "golf car? from gate to front of the apartment (kids really liked that service!). Booking the apartment was very easy and owner of the apartment very helpful. I would recommend to use owner?s brother as taxi driver, very nice cars and perfect service! There was nothing to complain, pool area was quite empty during the weekdays, more people around during weekends but still plenty of room. I would highly recommend this apartment to everybody and would definitely like to rent it again when visiting Hua Hin next time.

We were really happy with this wonderful apartment in Hua Hin. My friend and I stayed for one week in June and it ticked all the boxes we wanted. The complex is very relaxed and not too busy, right on the beach. The pools are beautiful, and there is even one extra cold pool to cool down in, which I used a lot. Restaurants are not too far to walk or a quick trip in a taxi and we found some really nice ones, with lovely seafood. The apartment is well decorated, clean, new and all in working order. Gunny's driver picked us up from the airport and took us back, so we had nothing to worry about. Sure we will be back soon.

Sydney, AustraliaLoved it – this Condo complex is amazing!
Left on 05/17/2010 for a stay in May 2010
Have just spent 9 heavenly days at this place.
They only finished building this condo complex last year so everything is stunning. Swimming pools run between the 2 apartment wings, from reception to sea wall– 230m long series of sculpted pools with spa area. Beautiful with plantings, pebbles and stone, wooden decks. Before the sea wall the pool spreads to a large circle with decking and grass, loungers, umbrellas, and wicker furniture. We spent hours hanging out here. You can look right along the beach to Chopstick Mountain. There’s a gym which we planned to use but got lazy!
Most amazing thing about this complex is you practically have it to yourselves! Most condos are used as weekenders by wealthy families so we usually had the pool to ourselves. Quite wonderful when you consider it’s close to night markets, malls, bars, and stunning restaurants. Thought we’d need a car but definitely not - songthaews drive past reception every 10 mins and it’s just 10 Baht to town (10 mins). We walked along the beach to restaurants - less than 15 mins are Let’s Sea and Hyatt. A little further Supatra By The Sea– just before large Buddha on Chopstick Mountain– magical setting- 5 star service and food (and cocktails!). Plenty of cheaper places too.
As apartment is new it’s immaculate – modern, timber floors, 2 fully equipped large bathrooms with floor to ceiling stone tiles, 2 good sized bedrooms and combined living/dining area with kitchen. The furniture is also new- L-shaped sofa, dining setting, satellite tv, dvd player, and 40” plasma with surround sound (great for watching the cheap dvd’s we bought!). Pleased the aircon worked well as 35C outside in May! Balcony has leafy outlook towards a temple on a hill. Nice to stay where everything is in perfect condition – not our usual experience of rentals, especially in Asia! This felt 5 star.
Ps. Used owner’s transfer service– English speaking driver met us 1am at airport – took just 3 hrs to reach condo in aircon Toyota 4wd.

BangkokRelax by the pool at Hua Hin
Left on 05/03/2010 for a stay in April 2010
We enjoyed out holiday at Baan Sansuk Hua Hin. The 2 Bedroom apartment was very comfortable for our family (2ad 2chd) and as it is a new condominium everything is in good working order. The property has a beautiful large lagoon pool that we enjoyed for many hours every day. You would defintely need a car to get around and explore the area, get some groceries etc.. The only thing that would have improved our stay was blackout curtains!! Our children are use to having these and most hotels do.... It may have enabled them to sleep later??!!! For a lovely relaxing holiday we would recommend Baan Sansuk.
