An exceptional chance to live only 300 meters from Dolphin Bay Beach. This house has been built to European standards with a lot of love and consideration for the local surroundings.
Located only 300 metres from the beach, the house boasts a 200 sqm living area including 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 big kitchen / living room area, 1 storage room, 1 laundry room and 1 outdoor shower next to a 50 sq. m. (5x10m) child friendly pool.
The landplot is 1006 sq. m. and has a wide driveway with enough space for two cars and motorbikes.
Dolphin Bay is a very unique area with fishing villages, ne...arby golf courses, coconut fields and to top it off, the magnificent Sam Roi Yod National Park in your backyard. In the National Park you can take a boat ride and see all kinds of fish, eagles, colourful birds, monkeys, beautiful water Lilies and indigenous flowers. A trek up to one of the mountain tops in Sam Roi Yod will be rewarded by some spectacular scenery stretching all the way to the Burmese Border.
Dolphin Bay (as the name implies) has a group of 10-15 grey and pink dolphins swimming around in the bay. Dolphin Bay itself is 5 km long and a very child friendly beach with a wide array of shoreline wildlife including crabs and the amazing “flying fish” in the sea itself. A mere 10 minute boat ride away is Monkey Island, where friendly monkeys live and eat the food that local fishermen and tourists bring them.
Early morning on the beach you can buy delicious fresh fish, squid and tasty prawns from the local fishermen that are alot fresher than anything you’ll find at the supermarket! Fresh fruit, vegetables and meat are available from the local daily market.
If you fancy a bit of hustle and bustle the Royal Town of Hua Hin is only a short drive away. In Hua Hin you can find everything from fascinating night markets and shopping malls as well as Western grocery markets with all the western food you could want at your finger tips.
Hua Hin offers a range of activites for the whole family with award winning golf courses, a waterpark, wakeboarding facilities, elephant trekking, Hua Hin Hill Vineyard as well as a lively beach scene.
In between Hua Hin and Dolphin Bay lies the traditonal Thai town of Pranburi. Aside from seeing local people going about their business, the town also contains a huge Makro supermarket and also a Tesco Lotus Shopping mall. In Pranburi you can get almost anything, and it is definitely worth a visit if you want to explore an old Chinese business area in Thailand.
Dolphin Bay is only 3 hours drive south of Bangkok so easily accessible from the airport. For short breaks and day trips there are also a wide variety of locations to choose from including the traditonal Floating Market at Samut Songram (1.5hrs) and the famous Bridge over the River Kwai in Kanachanaburi (3hrs). Closer attractions include the narrowest point in Thailand, where you can experience the delights of a traditonal cross-border market at Dan Singkon.
The garden is decorated in an oriental style with coconut palm trees, banana plants, exotic fan palms, leawadee trees, colourful flowers, orchids and Hawaii flowers. The garden has an automatic sprinkler system, a 12 Cu water tank with direct access to public water, so you will never run out of water!
Downstairs in the house there is 1 bedroom, 1 storage room, 1 bathroom, 1 laundry room and 1 big kitchen / living area with air conditioning. From the living area there is access to several terraces around the house as well as access to the pool and Garden. The upper floor consists of f 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 1 bedroom has a balcony overlooking the garden, the pool, and coconut fields towards the sea. We stayed here for 4 days during a long weekend. It was our first time to rent a villa in Thailand, so we didn't really know what to expect, but everything was absolutely fantastic.
The directions were easy to follow once we reached Pranburi, and New, the housekeeper, was there to meet us when we arrived. She showed us all around the house and explained to us that the electricity might be a bit temperamental because it comes from a long way away. She explained that we might not be able to run many things at one time, but we never had a problem. We ran the air con most nights, in each room and it was fine. We also had lot of electronic equipment plugged in and didn't have any problems. Sometimes, at night, the lights would flicker a little bit, but they never went out and we never lost power.
The villa is absolutely stunning, a big, spacious, cool house set in a beautiful garden. We spent most of our time there relaxing by the salt-water pool, which was wonderful and refreshing in the midday heat.
The bedrooms were lovely and big. Very comfy beds and bedding. The outside areas of the house were great. There are plenty of chairs to relax in during the day, and a big table for eating meals outside.
The villa is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking. There is no cooker, but there is a bit BBQ in the garden, which we used every night. There are a couple of markets a few KMs away from the villa, which are easily accessible by car or motorbike. There is plenty of fresh fish at these markets, which was really cheap and very delicious. There is a little shop just down the road from the villa, which sells charcoal, ice, and other little things you may need. Restaurants and bars are a couple of KMs away, but we didn't really use them as we were cooking everything ourselves.
I have nothing bad to say about our stay. From start to finish it was absolutely fantastic!

This really was the perfect place to escape the cold British winter. Gorgeous house with light and airy rooms, stylish furniture, comfortable beds etc. The open air living space on the first floor is ideal for chilling out and reading or enjoying a glass of wine.
The house is almost on the beach (about 300m away) - the beach is absolutely gorgeous but I have to say, we spent most of our time there relaxing by the pool.
Hua Hin was in easy reach so we drove in some nights for dinner and a stroll round the night market, but otherwise we were more than happy to stay 'home, eat, sunbathe and swim!

The house is stunning, huge and cool in the heat of Thailand. We stayed for 2 weeks and had a great time being only a few minutes walk from the beach. The area is stunning surrounded by palm trees and mountains with the most gorgeous beach you can imagine. Great to have a huge pool to ourselves and large garden for the kids to play in.
You can hire kayaks or bikes to tour the area. There are also lovely places for massage and delicious seafood right on the beach
