189852Fantastic Place for family generations gathering
Left on 02/03/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We were staying in this place for 2 weeks during Christmas and New Year 2011/12. We were grandma and grandpa, 2 daughters with their families. All together 6 adults and 4 children ( around 4-6 years).
One of the daughters with family is living in New Zealand, so this place is perfect for travelling half way each as the rest of us is living in Sweden.
We just used 5 of the 8 rooms but had the whole villa for ourselves.
8 very well equipped doublerooms, nicely furnished. All with entrance to the beautiful poolarea.
Poolarea with palms and flowers . A lot of watertoys for children. Perfect.
A nice indoor kitchen but a fantastic outdoor kitchen/barbeque area with lots of seats for your meals.
The building surrounded by high walls make it perfect for small children as you dont have to watch them all the time as long as you have an eye on the pool.
Villa is not really on walkingdistance to the beach ( if you dont want to get some exercise) but hiring golf cars ( 4 audults + 2 children/car ) it takes you 5-10 minutes to the beach. Children love that ride. There is one golf car included in the rental but ( as it happended) if that is not working you have to rent one on your own expense. Not very expensive though..
At the beach you find very good seafood restaurants and prices are low.
This is far from the "tourist traps" like Phuket.
Also take the golf cars to the local markets where you can buy fresh seafood to prices you just cant dream of.
The owners of the villa , Ian and Theresa, are very helpful and nice people. They take care of you. -
