Birgit was so helpful, provided great planning information. Her Huatulco administrator, Maria, was very professional for check-in and check-out, and was available to help with anything you need. Sueno del Mar staff is wonderful.
The complex is safe, and this luxury home is clean and comfortable. This location is convenient to walk to either La Crucecita or Santa Cruz, or if you prefer it's a $2 cab ride to either town center. There are many great restaurants and things to see in Huatulco.
Our family enjoyed an all day private bay tour by boat, arranged via Maria, where we had a blast snorkeling and checking out all the bays west of Santa Cruz. Our also teens enjoyed spending a day at the Las Brisas resort; we paid $250 MX (about $20 us) for use of their facilities/towels/pools/beaches, and they give you $250 in resort credit to spend in restaurants, bar or gift shop. All the restaurants Birgit and Maria suggested were great and affordable, including the ones close to Sueno del Mar. Our fav was the Terra Cotta.
Casa anita is tastefully decorated with all the comforts for your stay, including individual air conditioners in the bedrooms if you prefer a.c. over the ocean breezes. The second floor view is beautiful. There were only a couple of surprises to roll with: the outdoor grill was out of order the entire week, and the "pillow top" mattresses are harder than one would expect.

Our apologies for the BBQ situation, it will be solved soon. The mattresses are reversible and have two sides, one is softer and one is an Aloe Vera harder pillow top. We hope that you had a good restful sleep in Casa Anita. We will make sure that we use the softer side for your next visit. -

Our stay at Casa anita in Huatulco, Mexico was as perfect as it gets. We flew down there on a Saturday and stayed until the following Sunday.
The accommodations were beautiful with a view that matched them. The Sueno Del Mar complex is as nice of a complex that we have stayed in and the people that live there are soo helpful! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. -

My husband and I traveled to Huatulco for the second time this last spring. We stayed at Casa anita and felt warmly welcomed by the staff and found the secure, peaceful surroundings helped us to relax and truly enjoy our vacation. We were in close walking distance to fabulous restaurants but also found it extremely easy to take a taxi anywhere we wanted to go. We love to snorkel and found many beaches available. The staff at Casa anita was very knowledgeable and helped us negotiate the language barrier when we wanted to travel to a local coffee plantation and waterfall or just needed directions. The condo was clean, spacious and the pool was warm and welcoming. We truly had a great time and would definitely go back!

Lovely condo with all the amenities. Large balcony overlooking pool. Beautiful property near park, beach, shops, restaurants, spa. Thoughtful owner, responsive to all questions/requests. Would go back in a heart beat!

This condo is a perfect home-base for a tropical Mexican holiday. This 2 BR 2 bath condo is well appointed with modern furniture and alluring decor. The modern kitchen is well equipped.
The photos included with the listing capture the essence and spirit of the owner who works hard to create a warm and comfortable environment for visitors. In addition, the property manager and maintenance staff are competent and quick to address the needs of the visitor.
The pool and deck area are beautiful and well appointed to create a warm and cosy atmosphere for those lazy afternoons around the pool. In addition, the views from the observation deck are spectacular with fishing and tour boats plying the waters as well as the beach activity on the Playa Chaue.
The complex is within easy walking distance from the town of La Crucecita and its excellent shops and restaurants. In addition, be sure to visit the town square in the evening for a glimpse into the heart and sole of the families who drive the Huatulco experience. It is an experience of a lifetime.!
Casa anita is an ideal jumping off point for all visitors who are interested in experiencing rural Mexico as well as the natural beauty of the Bays of Huatulco.
We have no reservations in recommending this condo to others.

This was our first trip from Canada to Huatulco and we were a bid hesitant since we did not know much about Huatulco and the press has not been in favor of Mexico travel. What a surprise, a beautiful, very safe town surrounded by the mountains and beautiful beaches. The entire family loved Huatulco, but we hit the jackpot
by staying in Casa anita. Everything the web site
www.casaanita2007.com had promised was absolutely true. We loved our morning coffee on the large terrace overlooking the ocean, beach, pool and gardens. The colors of the impressive landscaping welcomed us every day. The condo is more than spacious for 4 adults with plenty of
privacy. We enjoyed cooking some of our meals in the gourmet kitchen, but also used the BBQ outside.
We are so happy that we were not stopped by all the bad publicity and found a new tropical paradise to return to. The staff was very helpful and friendly and always available, when needed. Thank you to the owner

Prior to going down to Huatulco, I was a bit skeptic about a number of things. I wanted to be sure that it was safe, that there was enough to do and that the place that I was staying at provided a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. I can report back that I achieved all of those and more. I was shocked to find that Casa anita provided me with more security than I am used to in the us!!! It was, by far, the most relaxing and incredible experience that I have had on vacation and would hope that all of my friends and other family members that weren't down there will be able to have the pleasure of staying at such a wonderful place. I was extremely pleased to find that there are many unique and exquisite restaurants in the area. I am eager to book another vacation down at Casa anita and hope that many more of our friends can join us!!!

Went to Huatulco with a few girlfriends for a week long getaway. We were absolutely blown away by the great view, accommodating staff, and luxurious space we lived in. Extremely well furnished, gorgeously landscaped grounds. Pool, beach, lounging area, spas, and park...all right there. The staff was super helpful in organizing all activities- boat tours, waterfall tour, snorkeling. Very safe- guard at all times, gated community!! The beach is right in front of you and the town with restaurants and shopping an easy walk away. A definite recommendation to all- families, couples, friends. Will be returning soon.
