Condo was as advertised, very comfortable. Great location easy walking distance to all amenities, close to beach, la Crucicita, Santa Cruz. Complex is very quiet during the day. The pool is for tanning and quiet reading. Noise of any kind is discouraged. It would appear that the owners in residence do not like vacation renters and there is definitely tension around the pool. Some days it was very uncomfortable and we felt like anything above a whisper would not be tolerated. I would not recomend this property to the younger traveler or families with small children. It would also be nice if there were a few more lounge chairs around the pool - there are not many considering the size of the complex and they are taken up very quickly. Pauline the property manager was awsome she was waiting with a cold beer on our arrival and she made us a wonderfull picnic lunch for our adventure with hurricane divers ( a tour I highly recommend). The disco a couple of blocks away is definitely noisy (weekends only), but turning on the air conditioner drowns it out and makes for a good night's sleep.

Had a great week staying at Sueno del Mar. The condo was exactly as described and had everything we needed. Location is perfect and close to all attractions and amenities. The owners were easy to work with and the on site coordinator in Huatulco was welcoming and attentive. All in all we we totally recommend staying here!

My wife and I spent three weeks at Casa Lucinda in the Sueno del Mar condo complex. We were there Feb. 23- March15, 2011.
Huatulco has become a regular winter destination for us. We have stayed in town, at small hotels, and out in Tangolunda at an a.I.. This trip we decided to pamper ourselves and rent a condo. After looking at all the options we booked at Sueno del Mar in the Chahue area of Huatulco.
The location is perfect for the area, central to both towns, and many of the beaches. It is a great area to walk and the Playa Chahue is a two minute walk. Our condo is a one bedroom and had a view of the mountains, and the Chahue marina. The condo had everything you could want, well appointed furnishings, and art work, stainless steel appliances, great gas cook stove. We cooked a number of meals there, and had a couple of dinner parties. I think the best thing for us was the relaxed mornings with no hurry to get ready and head out, just have bite to eat, go for a walk, then come back and get ready for another day of sun and fun.
The complex is very nice, great pool, barbecue area, very clean and the staff there was great. There were a few issues with a couple of the condo owners and some of the guests. The pool in the afternoon was a great place to hang out and meet everyone, talk about the day and have a drink. It was the perfect happy hour. One of the guests had a music system which he would bring to the pool, and we all enjoyed some music and a good time. This was low key and was not loud, just fun! There were a couple of owners who did not like a little fun, and put a damper on everyones good time. It just made me wonder why someone would buy a condo in Mexico then try and subject it to a retirement village mentality. We nicknamed the complex Sueno del Morgue. After that we just ignored the "rules police" and continued to enjoy our vacation. I hope these people sell and move to a place where they might be a little happier. One more point on the music which I find a little ironic. There is a disco "La Papaya" in the Chahue area which pounds out ridiculously loud music on some nights. Makes me wonder what the no fun folks think about that??...rant over!
Okay, beyond a couple owners at Sueno del Mar this is truly a great property and condo. I would not hesitate to return. The cost is probably on par with an above average hotel, so it was very affordable. The owners are lucky having a wonderful person to look out for their condo in Pauline ( of hurricane divers fame) she is available for any problems you may encounter.
Overall I would rate this trip the best ever to Huatulco. I think we are now spoiled by staying in such a great accomodation. We hope to be back next year!Response from Gerald Quigley - 04/25/2011

The condo was very comfortable, immaculate and brand new. We did everything for ourselves as it is a gated condo complex with about 22 units.
Location was perfect for walking to the small communities of Huatulco, Santa Cruz and Cruecicitta. A $2 taxi ride takes you back and forth and for $6 you can visit Tangolunda and the big resorts. We cooked alot of our meals because we love to bbq on the patio overlooking the gorgeus pool on one side and the beach and open ocean on the other side.
Lots of local beaches and clear water is great for snorkelling & scuba from shore or boat. Various tourist activities available; sightseeing, wandering through villages and shops. Locals are incredibly friendly. Food is wonderful and bottled water is sold everywhere. Costs are easy to take.
We stayed one month and connected to family via email, checking internet for home news. It was a terrific holiday.
