Calgary, Ab., CanadaWonderful accommodations, complex and staff of complex very help
Left on 07/07/2012 for a stay in May 2012
Casa Elisa is exactly as described. Maria B was great at getting back to us with any questions or concerns we had. The condo is well appointed and did not disappoint. Although we were only two people, 6 people would be very comfortable. The people in the complex from Maria Esther, Marisol, Santiago, Bernado, Miguel, Herva, etc. were very friendly and helpful. Sueno Del Mar is within walking distance to anything you need from Groceries, Pharmacy, shopping, etc. We walked everywhere. The beach and two beach clubs were right around the corner from the complex.
We were there for a month and would certainly go there again. -

Rather than repeat all the wonderful things everyone has already said it really comes down to this...
We asked ourselves what would we want for a perfect holiday.
Sueno del Mar in Huatulco had it all!
1. Owner - Maria B. was very accommodating from the first email. Her positive attitude and support sets the start for an amazing holiday.
2. Beaches - pristine one right out front and many others available.
3. Ease of Transportation there is a great taxi service that is very cheap and readily available.
4. Host - (on site) Maria is wonderful and insures everything is top notch.
5. Pool - beautiful pool with lush grounds.
6. Flights - direct flights from most major cities for 14 or less day stays. For longer stays worth your while to check around for rates.
7. Accommodations - the condo is spotlessly clean, has great views and is decorated beautifully.
8. Shopping - is available at several locations within easy walking distance. The local Super Che ( groceries) is just a few minutes away allowing yourself to run for those quick pick up items.
9. Location - easy walking distance for all activities.
10.Locals - are very friendly and helpful. Had amazing massage treatments while there.
11. Restaurants - many to pick from with delicious food.
12. Tours - went on an amazing boat trip and mountain tour.
These have not been listed in any order. Just a general over view of all we experienced.
To summarize - Thank you so much Maria for giving us the amazing opportunity of renting your condo and experiencing pure bliss in Huatulco. A vacation to be always remembered!

Location-Location-Location.Absolutely beautiful, well maintained condo complex, very safe and secure, and handy to supermarket, beaches, restaurants, and towns of La Crucecita and Santa Cruz.Balconies and roof top penthouse used during warm quiet evenings.Staff at Sueno Del Mar,from property manager Maria, security staff, and airport pickup driver armando all very friendly and helpful. We hired armando for a days tour of nearby villages, and a trip into the mountains to see a coffee plantation. He provided a wealth of information about the area, and his air conditioned Suburban was a bonus.Cabs are plentiful, with trips into town costing 25 pesos( $2),and to nearby beaches $ 4-5 .Condo is very well appointed, with beautiful grounds and pool area.About a 5 minute walk to beach.Hesitant to write such a good review, because more people will find out about this little slice of heaven, and booking for a return visit will be more difficult.

CalgaryA Little Piece of Paradise
Left on 02/26/2012 for a stay in February 2012
We stayed at Casa Elisa for 2 weeks. The condo is large and very nice - an upper end level of luxurious accommodation. In fact, my 14 year old son, with his beautiful bedroom and large bathroom, is pretty sure he is unrecognized royalty and should be addressed as Prince Michael - ha-ha-ha! There are a number of balconies with different views. Some mornings I had coffee while watching the sun rise on the Sierra Madres, and other mornings, the ocean side. We even star gazed from the rooftop terrace on occasion. Nighttime chorus of crickets and frogs, waking up to birdsong - it's a beautiful thing. There is some traffic noise now and then, but who cares?
The location is outstanding, being adjacent to the beach, and only a short walk to 2 nearby towns. We hit the beach almost every day, and the boys enjoyed body surfing. In the heat of the afternoon, we often gravitated to the very nice pool area with a book and beverage, and enjoyed hanging out with other vacationers.
The large grocery store, Super Che, is only a couple of blocks away, and there is an abundance of great restaurants within easy walking distance. The food was fabulous, and no-one had any issues with "intestinal" problems.
Huatulco is a great area. The pace is relaxed, and the combination of ocean, multiple beaches, jungle, Sierra Madres, and consistently beautiful weather (sunny and 30 degrees every day) is wonderful. A very minor negative, as is present in many areas of the world during these tough times, is that there are a number of abandoned construction projects throughout Huatulco, They detract from some of the beauty of the area, but you quickly barely notice them in the big picture.
For those of you worried about personal safety, the building is very secure. Additionally, we wandered about on foot quite often, both in town and near the condo, and never once felt unsafe. The local people we encountered were all friendly, warm and helpful.

Ciudad de MexicoMagnifico lugar
Left on 01/07/2012 for a stay in December 2011

Casa Elisa at Sueno del Mar is one of the most luxurious vacation condos we have ever stayed at. For the last 8 years we have been vacationing in Mexico at beautiful places like the Mayan Riviera and Isla Mijeres. Huatulco and this property was the most beautiful yet! Incredible views of both the ocean and mountains from this condo. Extremely clean and beautifully decorated. This three bedroom condo gave the four of us more room than we needed. The penthouse patio was especially wonderful in the early morning to wake up drinking coffee while watching the sunrise over the ocean. Only five minutes from two beach clubs and virgin beaches that we used every day for the week we were there. The pool was exceptionally relaxing and pleasing to the eye as well. The downtown is close and had plenty of great places to eat and drink. We especially enjoyed taking a cab to Tongo Lunda to eat as well. Lots of great snorkeling in all of the outstanding nine bays. Certainly a place we would love to return to and stay at Casa Elisa again. The Sueno del Mar's quality is hard to imagine in this simple unspoiled city of Huatulco. My only fear is that more tourists are bound to find this hidden jewel and then we have to share our piece of nirvana with others. You can't beat this property for the reasonable rental price. We returned to Nashville only wishing that we had spent a second week there. Our dream is to make a place like this our second home.

Bloomfield Hills, MichiganAwesome Condo, Great Location
Left on 11/22/2011 for a stay in October 2011
Casa Elisa is a gem, steps away from Chahue Beach. This top floor, 3-bedroom condo has all the amenities for a great stay in Huatulco. We spent 2 weeks there in October and wish we could have stayed two months. Built in 2008, the stylish condo is well appointed, very clean and comfortable. It has large open common areas for gathering, while each bedroom has its own balcony with either mountain or ocean views and there is a rooftop deck overlooking Chahue beach and the beautiful bay. The complex's private pool area gets great sun and is surrounded with vibrant flowers and tropical plants; very relaxing. For a little more social interaction and beach activity, there are two beach clubs within 200 yards of Sueno del Mar. Each has a restaurant, pool, lounge chairs and other amenities. Our favorite is the Castillo Beach Club, which charges a nominal fee (30 MXP) for the day. The other club is very nice too and doesn't charge a fee. The owners of Casa Elisa are very easy to work with and extremely helpful. They provided all kinds of helpful information regarding the area, trip planning, etc. Likewise, the staff members at Sueno del Mar are very attentive and friendly. We especially like Miguel the doorman/security guard. Casa Elisa is very well situated. The grocery store (Super Che) and several restaurants are a short walk away. The town centers of La Crucecita and Santa Cruz are also walkable (which we did a few times). For quicker commutes taxis are available within a block and are very inexpensive (20 - 30MXP each way). Casa Elisa is a perfect home base for exploring and experiencing Huatulco. Enjoy!

Ottawa, Ontario, CanadaA beautiful oasis in a wonderful tropical location
Left on 11/16/2011 for a stay in January 2011
Casa Elisa is 3 bedroom private condo in beautiful Huatulco that my extended family (3 couples) rented last winter. The condo complex (Sueno del Mar)was gorgeous particularly the pool area. The location, although relatively close to the small towns of La Cruzita and Santa Cruz was a bit isolated and not a lot of emenities in the immediate area. Despite that, the location was relatively central, taxi-cabs were cheap and we had no problem exploring all that Huatulco had to offer. The condo itself was very well appointed and very spacious with 3 lovely balconies (although only one had a view of the ocean). All in all though, a wonderful experience and I would certainly return to Casa Elisa.
