What a beautiful place! Every detail was perfect. House beautifully decorated, beds as comforable as home (with a proper mattress that supports your back). We were there for a seminar in Hudson and loved the feel of the house so much we wished we could just stay there all day and luxuriate!

Five of us rented the villa Sofia for the last weekend of November/December 2, and we were there for the annual Winter Walk through the streets of Hudson. We had a wonderful time! The home itself is beautiful, gracious and very cozy. I brought Friday's dinner in a crock pot and we enjoyed eating casually in such a beautiful home and relaxing after our trip. The next day we toured all of the local businesses along Warren Street, had a great meal at an Italian restaurant and bought some creative Christmas presents. The fireworks at 8:00pm were an extra special attraction! We all just loved the villa Sofia and hope to return soon!

This house was my dream come true for a week away from the city. Its spacious, light, comfy and so close to Warren Street.
I spent the week strolling the town, hitting yoga every night, taking a bath and watching the sunset right from the tub and eating at all the hot new spots in town.
Friends came and we lounged on the terrace and cooked in the huge kitchen.
I am ready to move in but will probably just rent again next May.
I perfect home! -

My fiancé and I along with his parents and their dog stayed at Villa Sophia for the weekend and fell in love with the town, but even more so with the house. I could have spent the entire weekend appreciating the home. The town is very friendly and quaint and is just a five-minute walk from the home. Would definitely stay there again! I must also say that Juan was wonderful to deal with. So nice! Just a wonderful overall experience.

The house was absolutely fabulous!! We had such a wonderful time. I loved the d?cor so much. Just wonderful touches and details everywhere we looked.
My husband is an architect and just fell in love with the home and the town itself. And my in-laws had a great time too- it was a perfect getaway family weekend. I can certainly see us coming back. The town itself was adorable and my husband and I bought some art work- we would have bought lots of furniture had we had a truck! Haha. And we ate so well too- lots of great places on Warren Street.

One hour in the claw-footed bath-tub with views over the Hudson river to the Catskills followed is enough to drain away months of stress. Easy to get to by train, close enough to restaurants and bars but secluded enough to savour the country, I hope to return here again and again.

I stayed in the Villa Sofia with my wife and some friends last weekend and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully and thoughfully decorated with ample space to relax and unwind. Great location close to the shops, galleries and nightlife. In top of being exceptionally well decorated all rooms are immaculately clean. We also took advantage of the promixity to the Catskills and went skiing for the day.
