This stone built cottage is located on the outskirts of the Peak District village of Hulme End, within driving distance to Buxton and sleeps four in two bedrooms. East Cawlow Barn is a stone built cottage, which has been created from a Grade II listed barn is situated on the edge of the village of Hulme End in the Peak District. Consisting of two bedrooms, one double and one twin, means that this cottage sleeps four people. The cottage also has a family bathroom, a well equipped kitchen with dining area and a sitting room. The nearby town of Dovedale and the well known village of Hartington offers a wider selection of amenities and shops whilst whole area is ideal for those looking to spend their time walking, cycling or horse riding. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  We had a great time. The accomodation was clean and spacious. A light bulb which failed was replaced as soon as reported. Due to Peak Planning the owners were not permitted to make extra windows in the barn but there were plenty of lights in the house if the day was dull.
  
  The accomodation was well equiped.
  
  The view form the patio table was very pleasant.

  Peaceful retreat convenient for lots of activities

  The cottage was very tidy and well appointed. We had snow while we were there, but the house was plenty warm enough, even for our 3 girls, who enjoyed playing in the field next door and the cycling and walking right on the doorstep. A short stroll across the field to the old railway, which proved very popular and we cycled and walked around the vicinity, with some trips slightly further afield too.
  The facilities were fine and the house provided everything the 5 of us needed for a weeks stay, along with ample storage for our bikes too. We will be returning!
