Talk about having a home away from home! This place is gorgeous! The set-up is unique (bedrooms on lower floor, kitchen & sitting room on Main and living room & bar in Loft), but it works! There are balconies overlooking the ocean on the Main and 3rd floors. Comfortable chairs, beds, well stocked kitchen and all the amenities a hotel would give you (right down to the hair dryer). Yes, convenience and beauty all rolled into one. The golf cart came in real handy too. In comparison to other properties we saw in Palmas, this one was very well maintained, felt hospitable and relaxing.

We had a wonderful stay. The penthouse accommodated six of us nicely. The area was safe and beautiful. Nature everywhere. Enjoyed the sunrises! Not too far for San Juan and the rainforest. Yummy local food nearby. Loved having access to the golf cart and paddle board. Awesome memories were made!

This condo is fantastic - as is the beautiful community that surrounds it. The condo is very well appointed and is very comfortable and clean. The pool and whirlpool are great and our daughter enjoyed the beach every day. Having the golf cart to motor around the community is great. The location within the community is perfect- close to the "plaza" that has numerous excellent affordable restaurants.

Great stay at this three bedroom condo in Palmas Del Mar. Spotless and comfortable. Very bright. Four of us stayed here for a week, and had lots of space. Plenty of storage for you luggage and clothes, although with the laundry, we didn't have to bring much with us. The main floor patio is perfect for sunrises, and reading while looking at Vieques. It is covered, so it never gets too hot. The upper floor patios are perfect for sunning, with one facing east and the other west. The trade winds do actually cool things off nicely outside all day. The kitchen is well equipped with all the dishes you could need, and an extremely quiet dishwasher. Palmas is great for walking around. There are several beaches in the area, with good wind and waves. One is down the street past Palmanova Plaza (short, but hilly walk), and the other is over by the Wyndham Garden Inn (take the golf cart). Our daughter and her friend preferred the one by the Wyndham Garden Inn (called Crescent or Pirates). Palmanova Village has 30-40 units, and its own pool. We went there every day, and had it to ourselves. There is a small exercise room with treadmill, stationary bike, and weights. Pool and exercise area were also spotless and well maintained.
Condo is a short walk to Palmanova Plaza, which is a real plus. There are at least a dozen restaurants there, and all are excellent. While we generally ate breakfast and lunch in the condo, we still managed to fit in quite a few meals there. We ate at: Chihuahua (Tex-Mex), Blue Hawaii (Asian, mainly Chinese), D'Cafe, La Brouchette, Paradiso (by Flying Pizza), Flying Pizza, and Latina. There is also a grocery store there, which is quite well stocked for its size. I would say that prices are 20% higher than Wal-Mart, but it is worth it for the convenience. There is a Wal-Mart and surrounding strip Mall with just about everything two exits north of Palmas Del Mar on Hwy 53. The Wal-Mart is 10min from the condo door. The plaza also has some nice bars and a pool hall, so there is something for all ages.
Being a gated community, Palmas is very secure and quiet. We walked around it every morning. The area around the condo is a bit hilly, so we drove over to the Catholic Church in the community and walked in the flatter area. Looking forward to our next visit there.
During the trip we went to Old San Juan, Kayaking in the Bio Bay (with Kayak Puerto Rico - (Amazing experience, and a great operator), and hiking in El Yuenque (an easy hour drive from the condo up by Luquillo). On a previous stay in PR, we also went ziplining at Toro Verda. We will do all of these again the next time we vacation. -

We had a wonderful time in Puerto Rico! The Luxury Penthouse was even better than we had expected. It is situated in a beautiful area with many amenities for the whole family--golfing, tennis, beach, water park, swimming pools and a golf cart! The Penthouse was perfect for our family, since everyone had their own area to chill. Everything we needed was provided for a family of 5. The kitchen was well stocked to make meals, the entertainment system was perfect to watch a movie at night and you can't beat the location. The penthouse was beautifully furnished and very clean! The owner was wonderful in giving advice and tips for our stay. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to my friends! Muchas Gracias!

This penthouse is equal to that of a five star hotel. All amentities were included with our stay, including a golf cart. However, what truly made this property memorable to us, were the three balconies with excellent views. Wathcing the sunsets and sunrises were breathtaking. Can't forget about the private pool and work out facility. It was great to work out and cool down in the pool:) Last but not least, the owner was very professional and considerate. Thank you David.

We enjoyed a perfect vacation in Paradise and the vacation house was also perfect. Large and well decorated in a modern style everything you need for a great vacation. The property was immaculate and very well kept. Perfect views making any time spent inside wonderful as the view was always there at the window and from the many balcony's.
The house was very well fitted with everything you want or need and done with taste making us feel very much at home. We can recommend this to anyone and having the golf kart to drive to the beach or to the lovely shopping/restaurants was a lot of fun.
We would definitely go back! We fell in love with Puerto Rico and Palmas Del Mar is the perfect place to be as it had everything you need. So perfect vacation, great vacation spot and wonderful house! -

I came down for a week with my family, and wanted to stay in Palmas for a more relaxing time in Puerto Rico. The rental was perfect. Balconies on the two upper floors- those on the east side have great views of the ocean and Vieques island. Bring a cup of coffee out while enjoying the view, and I can't think of a better way to wake up every morning.
The apartment came very well-equipped, and it's spacious, clean and looks new. The kitchen was fully stocked, which was important for us because we like to cook. There were six of us staying there, and it never felt crowded. The pool and hot tub are a short walk away- and they have those same amazing views over the ocean and Vieques. It was nice to be away from the craziness of San Juan, but still close enough for an easy drive in. Not far from El Yunque, either.
Palmas is a really nice community- everything you need is close by. A golf cart came with the rental, and we'd use that to take in the sights in Palmas, or make a quick run to grab coffee or food, or run down to the beach.
When all is said and done, it was a perfect week in Puerto Rico. I'm ready to go back at any time!Response from David Rodriguez - 03/16/2012

Stayed here with family in October and had a great time. The views from the apartment are amazing!
It was a great location from which to explore PR. We visited friends in Ponce and the drive from Humacao was beautiful.
Beach was very nice. Burgers at the Bohio bar were OK, but we did most of our own cooking.
Owners were awesome! Accommodated us in every way. I can't wait to return in May.
