This Championship golf course is a 6667-yards, par 71 originally designed by the Masters Champion and TV Celebrity Gary Player and was rated by Gold Digest Magazine as among the best in the world. This beautifut penthouse in located in an upscale private neighborhood extremely secure and unbelievable pristine. The apartment is very nicely kept, spacius, with a great view to the golf couse, pool and ocean. It was very clean and equiped with everything you need to feel at home. Mr. Garcia was always just a call away to help with anything you needed and was very nice to deal with him. The location is great, relatively close to El Yunque and Fajardo where you can get excursions to nearby reeefs and secluded island beaches. I highly recommend this property and would love to go back for another great stay!! Thank You Carlos.

I just returned from Humacao, PR and the Palmas Del Mar resort area this week. We were two couples vacationing for one week. The location of this unit is very nice. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. The balcony offers a lovely view of the pool, golf course and beach. The weather was lovely with warm temperatures and a constant breeze. The unit is located right next door to the Wyndam Hotel which is convenient for the casino.
The condo is fine for the price but I would not recommend it for 2 couples as the second bedroom has twin beds which are not comfortable. The master bedroom and ensuite bathroom are in fairly good shape. The second bathroom needs updating as the floor was drenched after showering. We were told that lounge chairs were available on the beach, but they were not. We ended up going to Walgreens to buy chairs and left them at the condo. The kitchen is small and adequately clean, but not pristine. If you want to really cook meals, I would not recommend it. There is WiFi in the unit which was a big plus for us.
All in all I would say it was a good deal for the price but I think there are more comfortable and better maintained units available. In fact, the place was virtually empty until the weekend. The condo definitely needs updating. The best feature is the balcony where more comfortable chairs would make it more relaxing.Response from Ing. Carlos A. Garcia - 03/19/2012

Thank you for your review. I appreciate it that you took the time to give us your feedback. I took note on the comment about the second bathroom drainage to verify it.
However I have to rebut on two of your comments, which may be construed as misrepresentation:
1. I never offered private beach chairs. There are plenty of beach chairs at either of the two swimming pools at the condo. In fact, I stated that there are beach chairs available at the beach Bohio but that I didn’t know who is the concessioner.
2. The room arrangements were clearly stated in the plot plan that is provided before the villa is rented. It includes the kitchen and rooms layout where the twin beds are shown. Thus, the size and equipment of the kitchen is ideal for a couple with children but also adequate for two couples when rented for a small period of time.
I certainly appreciate your positive feedback on all the other items and respect your opinion regarding subjective matters of taste.

We spent a week in this apartment at the Palmas del Mar resort in late December. It was a family vacation with our 2 teens. The service aspects were perfect. The owner is very friendly and meticulous - everything was arranged for our convenience. The penthouse apartment itself was great, with 2 good sized bedrooms, 2 baths, a nice living area and small but functional kitchen (and good aC). The star feature was the nice balcony that overlooks one of the 2 pools, part of a golf course and the beach (about 200 meters away)! It has a wonderful view and is the perfect place to relax.
The location in Palmas is hard to beat. It is right next to a hotel and close to the beach, but is quiet and safe.
The things we liked best were the balcony/views and the easy access to the beach. This is a very nice and convenient rental unit and we are already thinking about returning in the future.

We came upon Carlos and the Garcia "penthouse" last February by chance, when our planned place didn't meet our needs. This was great! The rooms are clean and comfortable, it overlooks the golf course with the beach beyond. There are two pools just outside the building, and is only a short walk to the hotel coffee shop where there is wireless and great pastries. We've reserved two weeks in 2011!
