While we enjoyed our stay of eight weeks, this particular unit needs a remodeling of its kitchen. The microwave was all rusty, the stove needed to be really cleaned and the tile counters need replacing. We found that the unit lacked beach towels, extra pillow covers and many small items for a long term rental. Oceano Beach Resorts was able to take care of many of the issues and I would have no problem with renting with them again. Palmas del Mar is a very large gated community with many different condo units. It is one hour from the airport and also San Juan. For complete grocery shopping, it meant a 20 minute car ride. Restaurants that were outside the complex were also far. There were several restaurants on the grounds that were good. The beach was good and there were two pools which were very nice and had a lovely covered area so there was plenty of shade and had ample lounges and chairs and tables.

We thank you for the feed back on the kitchen and are speaking to the owner about an upgrade. Other than this we hope the villa was found to be in good repair as the owner is very keen on keeping things in great condition. The resort is far from San Juan but most activities on the Island are half way between San Juan and Our resort. There is a small grocery store in the resort and we are always happy to have our concierge service deliver anything yo may need. We hope you will give us another try and we will be happy to assist in scheduling tours, excursions and more to make sure you get the most from your vacation.

We stayed in a two bedroom condo for eight weeks. While the condo itself is roomy and looks out over the pools and ocean, we found that the kitchen itself needed to be upgraded. Whatever major problems that we had, were easily taken care of by Oceano Resorts who was the rental agency. That being said, we did give to them a list of things that needed to be taken care of when we left. We also found that Palmas del Mar is very far from everything. It is a one hour trip to the airport and to San Juan. In order to go for groceries to the nearest supermarket, it meant a twenty minute trip in a car. This was also true for restaurants that were outside of Palmas del Mar.
