Just 45 minutes from the San Juan International Airport and Old San Juan.
This Villa is fully equipped. The Master Room has a King bed and its own bathroom, with sliding door facing the Terrace and pool view. The guest room has 2 Twin beds with an extra Twin roller bed, a full bathroom , a small kitchen and a fridge and a Convertible Queen Sofa Bed. A 1,700.00 Square Foot Villa,Sleeps 7.

A friend of mine recommended Palmas del Mar, and it did not disappoint. I was a bit nervous renting from a stranger, but andi is outstanding. She is always available with any kind of advice. The apartment was amazing (I originally booked it because of the view from the balcony), and was very comfortable and spacious. You could hear the ocean from inside the room, and it was so relaxing! It really was much better than it even appeared online.
The location is great as it's close to Fajardo which is where the bioluminescent bay and Ferry to Culebra can be found. We also took a quick trip to the rain forest. The only (minor) downside is that it's a bit more difficult if you don't speak Spanish, but everyone is accommodating. It's also a little harder to find restaurants, but this helped to keep the expenses down.
I would definitely recommend staying at Palmas, and more specifically at this particular rental. We met many people who traveled to Palmas every year, and maybe we will have to become one of them! -

"My wife, two sons (12 and 9), and I just returned from a week's stay at Jaime's apartment at Fairway Courts at Palmas Del Mar. The villa description is accurate - it is spacious (plenty of space for the four of us) and well equipped with lots of kitchen and bathroom supplies, extra pillows, blankets, etc. It is on the second floor (which is convenient for privacy), has a nice terrace for eating and overlooking the pool, and is very safe and secure, as it is a gated community. Fairway Courts is one of over 25 different developments in the Palmas Del Mar resort, and it has
its own entrance gate and a pool with a hot tub. The beach (shared by all communities) is a short 5 to 10 minute walk away (or you might consider getting a golf cart, which are very popular at the resort). At the beach we enjoyed wave surfing, but if you prefer calmer waters you might want to walk further up the beach to the left, where it is more protected from the wind, and the waters were much calmer. In fact, if you walk beyond the small peninsula, you will find a series of small and quiet palm-lined sheltered coves.
The town of Humacao is around 10 minutes away by car, and it has multiple supermarkets - we shopped at Ralph's and Econo. Palmas del Mar was a good base for our day trips around Puerto Rico - Old San Juan (around 50 minutes away), El Yunque rainforest (50 minutes), Camuy River Cave Park (1 hour 50 minutes).
The owner Jaime was very responsive to our questions and helpful, and our deposit was returned very promptly."

Had an unbelievable time on our first visit to Puerto Rico! Visited most of the island as everything is within a few hours. The facility of Palmas Del Mar is by far the most exclusive place on the island. It is first class and very well gaurded making for the most relaxing vacation imaginable. It is like going to the most desirable location for vacation imaginable. Perfect beaches, perfect weather year round, welcoming and hospitable people all over, excellent prices for the dollar, unlimited attractions, what more can I say. I can't wait to visit Puerto Rico again and again and again!
