Very nice cottage, close to Huntly, very clean and tidy, gardens very nice, the local people we met were very friendly and helpfull as were the owners. A great place to base yourself to explore other parts of Scotland such as LochNess, Inverness,north coast, Lossiemouth. Highly recommended.

Burnside is a beautiful, spacious cottage, very well equipped and homely.
We loved the peaceful location and well kept, large garden. Owners even left a supply of nuts to feed the numerous birds and red squirrel that visited the garden daily.
Owners were there to met us when we arrived giving useful information and a guided tour of the house.
We loved everything about the house except the bed which creaked and groaned every time you moved. We resorted to putting the mattress on the floor and sleeping on that, not ideal but at least you got a peaceful sleep! -

the cottage is equipt well, could do with a freezer,tiled floors thru out there are some that are slightly uneven, beware of tripping in the kitchen area.Furnishings cosy and clean as was the whole cottage.
The area was fine, some noise at the weekends from passing tractors, quad bikes.
Huntly and Dufftown were the nearest towns with full amenities, shopping, swimming pool, eating out, takeaways etc.
This is a good central location for visiting aberdeen, Inverness,Northern coastline,Lochness and many other tourist locations. -

As a regular visitor to Scotland this property ranked as one of the best we have stayed at. The wildlife that frequented the garden all week was special. The only disappointment was the wet and cold weather we experienced during our stay, nobody can yet control the weather!

Lovely holiday home in a rural peaceful setting, very welcoming owners, friendly & helpful. Beautiful big garden with everything you might need within the property. We really enjoyed our stay :)
