Magnificently located high on the moors by a quiet country road, this spacious farmhouse with its stunning views has a feeling of isolation yet is only 8 miles from Huntly and Dufftown, both with excellent shops, restaurants.The Whisky Trail leads round many distilleries which welcome visitors. The Moray Firth coast with its sandy beaches and picturesque fishing villages is less than an hour’s drive away, as is Aberdeen. There is unlimited hill-walking locally and a choice of golf courses. Very peaceful and beautiful place. Excellent service by the owner. House had everything we needed. No GSM service in the area, but house has a payphone and internet service.
Nearest grocery stores are in Huntly or Dufftown about 20 min. dirve away. -

Traditional stone floor house with lovely original furniture. Plenty of rooms and space and very clean and warm. Isolated but quiet spot on hills overlooking the river valley.
