When we add to the natural beauties, a high quality accommodation and Mediterranean cordiality and courtesy city of Hvar becomes an ideal destination for couples, families and parties.

Our apartments are situated in the eastern part of the city 5 min walking distance from the sea and the closest beach and 15 min walking distance from the old city.

Additional Location Information

Apartments Komazin are situated in the South-Eastern part of the town of Hvar in the Križna Luka area, in the vicinity of the soccer field and hotel Bodul. The old town center is a 15-minute walking distance away from the apartments i.e. some 800 m. distance from the apartment; the nearest beach is 300 metres away. The beach is is also the departure point for the boats leaving for the Paklinski islands.

The nearest store is 50 m away, restaurant - 200 m, diving center - 50 m, rent a scooter – 300 m.

Arriving in Split, Zadar, Dubrovnik airport you will have to take the bus to get to the port of Split where you can take a catamaran or ferry to get to the island of Hvar.
Catamaran is easiest way and it will take you 1 hour to get in the town of Hvar, if you have to take the ferry you will have to go to town of Stari grad 20 km from here and than take the bus to get to Hvar. Bus station and the harbor are 900 m from the apartments. Also for the guests arriving from Dubrovnik there is ferry line from Dubrovnik (on Sundays and Thursdays at 10 am). To Stari grad about 7 and 1/2 hours, bus to Hvar town.
At your arrival in the Hvar port when you get off at your left hand side up on the hill is the fortress just go towards and you will end up on the main square, turn right and go towards the main church (cathedral) some 50 m behind is the bus station where we will pick you up at your call.

  Very clean. Location great - easy access to different sight-seeing spots. Scenic walk along harbour to the town centre. Host - Andro got up early and bought us ferry tickets out of the island the next day (tickets could only be bought on the day and there was no guarantee we could get one even we lined up for that as soon as office opened) !

  Un accueil exceptionnel

  Nous sommes un couple avec 2 enfants de 6 et 3 ans et nous avons passé une semaine à Hvar début juillet 2012.
  Nous avions choisi de loger dans les appartements Komazin suite à la lecture des nombreux avis très élogieux sur Tripadvisor. Nous nous attendions à un accueil sympathique mais nous avons été vraiment bluffé par la gentillesse et la disponibilité de notre hôte et de sa famille.
  
  Nous avions privilégié un appartement de grande taille (appartement orange) pour que nos enfants aient de l'espace pour jouer. Nous n'avions pas de vue sur mer mais 2 grandes chambres, 2 terrasses et l'ensemble était d'une grande propreté et très fonctionnel.
  La maison Komazin est située un peu à l'écart du centre mais la ballade pour se rendre en ville ou à la plage est sympathique (la plus grande partie se fait le long du joli front de mer en passant par le monastère franciscain...) et se fait sans difficulté y compris avec de jeunes enfants.
  
  Nous voyageons de manière régulière mais je crois n'avoir jamais rencontré un accueil et une qualité de service de ce niveau. Tout ce qui écrit dans les autres avis sur la gentillesse d'Andro et sa famille n'a rien d'exagéré. Andro s'est chargé de nous récupérer à la descente du ferry à notre arrivée à Hvar et il nous a raccompagné avec les bagages au pied du bateau au retour (il s'était d'ailleurs chargé de nous acheter les billets). Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avons eu droit à une bière bien fraiche et à un jus de fruit pour les enfants. Nous avons également pu goûter durant notre séjour au strudel de la maman d'Andro et au cheese cake de sa soeur, tous deux excellents !
  Sans jamais être intrusif ou trop présent, Andro a toujours été disponible lorsque nous avions besoin de ses conseils avisés. Il nous a permis de cibler les endroits les plus sympas, notamment avec les enfants, que ce soit en terme de plages ou de restaurants.
  
  En résumé, nous avons passé une super semaine sur l'île de Hvar parce que l'endroit est vraiment magnifique mais notre plaisir a été renforcé par l'excellent accueil que nous avons reçu chez andro Komazin (les enfant parlent encore d'Andro !).

  Perfect place to stay in Hvar

  We stayed in apartment Maslina. Making the booking via email with andro was easy and efficient, and he also helped wih information about the catamaran from Split. As already mentioned in other reviews, we received a very warm welcome when he collected us from the port. The apartment was spacious and spotless, and having both bedrooms en suite was great. The front balcony has lovely views down to the sea. The walk down to the main port area is really nothing at all, a short hill then a gentle stroll along the sea wall. It felt like nothing was too much trouble and the apple strudel and lemon and cherry liqueurs were delicious.

  Tranquil, big, amazing host- excellent.

  Anton picked us up from the port, offered us ice cold lager and a map of what to see and where to eat. Initially, we couldn't get the internet to work so anton rushed off to get his own laptop for us to use. Within minutes he had re-set the router so everything was fine. 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms- excellent a/c-2 lovely big balconies. Later anton brought us beautiful.strudel. Day 2 anton supplied us with cheesecake and liquers. Anton bought us our boat tickets to save us queuing and we were driven back to the port to get our boat. What amazing service. We loved Hvar but it was enhanced by such a lovely stay at Komazin.
