This cabin was perfect for a family of 4 for 3 nights. We were there during the first snow so it was very cold to say the least. Management had turned on the heat ahead of time to welcome us, nice touch. Down-town is about a 30 - 45 minute hike one way, teenagers love it...jk! The hot tub was a daily routine during our stay and the view was amazing. Our lab loved the enclosed big yard and all the squirrels.
Martha form Idyllwild vacation rentals was friendly and helpful in recommending some great places to eat . Will use this service again. Maybe a cabin a little closer to town next time. -

Overall a decent place for the money. A few additional amenities would've been nice. For example, a scrub brush for washing dishes, rather than just a sponge. Cleaning tall glasses was impossible. Unfortunately didn't realize that until after I used one. Gross. Mattress in the master bedroom is on its last limbs and needs to be replaced. Cabin, decor, and appliances are all a bit outdated. Nice location.

My husband and I rented the Serenity cabin for a 4 day weekend. The cabin was a single level 2 bedroom accomodation. My husband is legally blind and the layout of the cabin made it very easy for him to navigate. Beyond that, the cabin was very comfortably furnished with quaint decor and lots of attention to detail. Two large sculptures in the backyard added to the woodsy ambiance. The kitchen was well equipted. The Quiet Creek crew made sure it was exceptionally clean before our visit. Actually, this was our third cabin rental from Quiet Creek and all of our experiences with them have been very positive.

Thank you for providing such wonderful accomodations and for responding so quickly to the broken heater. We enjoyed our stay despite the unexpected snow storm and subsequent icy roads which kept us from going into town. Thankfully, your cabin is stocked with games, movies and firewood! The only thing keeping me from giving this rental 5 stars is the fact that you ask guests to clean the kitchen, empty the trash, etc. While these chores are simple, I think the $400+ for two nights that we paid should alleviate housekeeping duties.

It was a very relaxing time for me and my 3 children. Vacation well needed after more than a year of no vacation. Great place very welcoming an clean, perfect with children. Plan to go again during winter.
