Squirrel's Nest Cabin
This small cozy cabin is a wonderful choice for a two night stay or an entire week. The Squirrels Nest is located in a woodsy area with a table and chairs on the back patio and BBQ for your convenience.
There is a new queen bed is the upstairs bedroom and a shower on the same floor. The downstairs living room has a sofa bed and flat screen TV. The full size kitchen is great for a weekend or weeklong stays. Weeklong stays are offered at $550.00 and come with a free bundle of wood. This cabin is about a mile walk to town and a short walk to the Ernie Maxwell hiking trail. This cabin is not pet friendly.

Not one traffic light in this great little town. Nearby Lake Fulmore and Lake Hemet are open for fishing year round. Boat rentals at Lake Hemet are only 25 minutes from Idyllwild.

We really loved it. We spent most of the time in the upstairs area, but the downstairs is nice too. The whole place is more than large enough for two people. Very comfortable bed. Nice TV with DVD player. Some might find the kitchen a little small. It's a lovely walk into town, maybe about a mile.

We had an excellent stay in a very cozy cabin. This was our first time in Idyllwild coming from Los angeles, and just two hours was like we travelled a world away. It was a relaxing weekend with excellent accommodations, close to town and hiking trails. On our way back to la we were already planning our next trip to Idyllwild. Great cabin and accommodations for the price.

There was a nice creek running behind the cabin. We spotted a deer the came down for a drink. The only issue we all had was that I requested a one level cabin and was given a call to let me know that the owners of the cabin I order was coming down and they had another cabin available with a stairway that circles. We all were already looking forward of getting away that I stated that I would take it. Now the issue my mother whom is 76 years young had trouble with the stairway because one it is really narrow and is very hard to manover. So if you request ths cabin make sure you are younger then 50. We did have a great time when we went to town and to Humble Park.
