This gorgeous three bedroom three bath cabin is about a mile from downtown Idyllwild, walking distance to stores, shops & restaurants. The cabin is warm and charming, tastefully decorated with stained glass and antiques .It is located in a quiet, wooded cull de sac with tree views from the huge back deck. There is plenty of comfy furniture on the deck with a great BBQ.

We were 4 adults & 3 young children staying at this cabin. The master bedroom was large with a king size bed and large bathtub with jets. The kitchen opened to the dining room and living room making it feel like one large room and very easy to make meals while interacting with those in the living room. The patio had 3 tables & was shaded from the sun allowing for a perfect mealtime atmosphere. The downstairs was like another cabin with 2 rooms, a large bathroom/shower, and the pool table with a microwave/sink/small refrigerator. Overall we had a great visit and would definitely rent this cabin again. It far exceeded our expectations.

We stayed in this cabin with our friends, for new years eve/day (dec 29,2012-jan 1,2013)
We had a great time during our stay, the cabin was lovely and Martha provided excellent service.
Here are some reasons we loved the cabin:
#1) The master bedroom! The bed was absolutely comfortable, the master bathroom was awesome with his and hers sink, standing shower, and the best part was the two-person bathtub with jets that felt like tiny-little-elfs were giving you a whole body massage lol, and the cherry on top was the nice outside our balcony.
#2) The game room was nicely decorated with vintage posters/items, It had a small wet-bar which was convenient, a pool table and a vintage table to play games.
#3 The kitchen was very spacious and It had everything we needed to make our food.
Here are some things we would change:
#1) although I love the vintage/ Victorian decor around the house, I did not like the vintage porcelain dolls in the downstairs bedroom, I also did not like the vintage crib, or personal baby paintings/clthing on the wall, It just seemed a little too personal and dare I say.. creepy after a glass or two of wine.
#2) The down stairs was a bit dark and outdated with the technology, They had small,old TVS with VHS players. (not a total fail, but could improve)
Overall our stay was a good one, we had a great time and we would return.

we really enjoyed our weekend here. a great open kitchen and the outside patio was plenty big for our bbq for 18. We never did get to the downstairs pool table. A very spacious cabin.

My wife and I and our three adult children and one fiance spent an incredible week at Hudson Hideaway. This home is immaculate and so comfortable you will relax the minute you walk in the door. Our mornings were spent with coffee on the gorgeous deck surrounded by the pines. The gas barbecue was a delight. Evenings were spent watching the Olympics on the flat screen T.V. or watching one of the Dvd's we brought with us. They also had an incredible collection of VHS video cassettes. There are T.V.'s in every room and the game room too. And the game room has a gorgeous pool table, mini fridge and drink blender. The kitchen was a dream with everything we needed to prepare our meals. There are many wonderful restaurants in Idyllwild to choose from if you prefer to eat out. The street is so quiet we felt like we were really and truly away from it all. We can't wait to return. Thank you Martha for the wonderful service and helping us to pick such a memorable vacation home!

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at the Hudson Hideaway cabin when we recently visited Idyllwild. We found the cabin to be immaculate, beautifully furnished with comfortable, great quality bedding. The games room was just icing on the cake...kept the kids busy! Martha is a dream to communicate with and I'm so glad I followed her recommendations. Will definitely return in the summer!

We have stayed at Hudson's Hideaway a few times over the last few years and love this cabin! Its tastefully decorated, close to town and the pool table is a hit with my kids. If the owners ever want to sell...

This place was terrific. If you like antiques, blended with modern technology this is the place for you. Close to town, great comfortable beds. Overstuffed furniture and flat screen tv's. The game room was a great bonus. All the amenities were there.

Our last minute decision to rent this cabin/home was the best one we've had in awhile!! Martha was very prompt in returning my call and was very pleasant to deal with. She assured me that if we needed anything, to call her any time of day. As it was, the place was perfect!!
Upon our arrival at Hudson Hideaway, we found the place to be spacious and inviting. It was very clean and comfortable. Our teenage girls loved the game room and my husband and I loved the wonderful deck behind the house. A nice quiet place to relax, play games, or just sit and enjoy the surrounding scenery.
We cooked most all of our meals at the cabin and found the kitchen to be fully stocked. The BBQ on the deck was very nice and convenient. We loved the decor of the home...very classy with antique furniture touches throughout.
We wanted to go hiking and only had to drive 8 to 10 minutes to Humber Park. Just loved the views and scenery of the San Jacinto mountains.
We really enjoyed our stay at Hudson Hideaway and would definitely recommend that you give it a try. You won't be disappointed! -
