Very unique two bedroom cabin only ten minute walk to town. This very woodsy setting is both private and centrally located. It has a full kitchen and a large back yard. Bring your pets and enjoy the short walk to town. The wood is provided for your enjoyment.
Master bedroom is nicely decorated with a very comfortable queen bed. The second bedroom has two twins and look out into front yard. There is a spacious living room with cable tv and wood burning stove. Enjoy a great breakfast nook with plenty of windows and tree views. This home has easy access in snow and a large deck to enjoy. Come experience the artist retreat.

Escape to beautiful Idyllwild California. Mild summer temperatures and fantastic snowy winters make our small mountain escape a fabulous vacation destination. The San Jacinto National Forest has great hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Our quaint little Village is full of shops and restaurants, Art Galleries, Nature center and much more. Not one traffic light in this great little town. Nearby Lake Fulmore and Lake Hemet are open for fishing year round. Boat rentals at Lake Hemet are only 25 minutes from Idyllwild.
For the time you do spend indoors, make sure it's a premium vacation rental from Fern Valley Vacation Cabins. We provide free of charge fresh towels and all beds are made up with fresh linens and plenty of cozy blankets just before you check in. The personality of Jim Hagerty, cabin owner, is on full display in this cabin packed with original artworks and funky ceramic and furniture pieces bearing his artist's signature. The wood-burning stove was a real plus on a couple of cold December nights.
Comfortable beds, great location just off the main drag but also walking distance from a good 2-hour hiking trail.
We brought a little stereo for tunes which was a good move since the cabin has just an older TV with no VCR/DVD player and possibly no inputs. -

When we arrived the lights were on which provided a harbinger of the welcoming we received. We could not have asked for more. The place was clean, there were towels available, and wood for the fireplace. I would recommend artist's retreat and Martha Sanchez to anyone looking for a great weekend in Idyllwild.
