Well priced, the longer you stay, the better the rate. $125 per night mid-week, $150 per night on weekends. Two-night minimum. Want to stay an extra night? Only $50 more per night. A week only $550. A great value, at great location.

The cabin is on a non-paved, but easily accessable dirt road, which is mostly used by residents, so very few cars pass by in a day. The property is part of a 1.3 acre parcel. There is a main house, garage, guest house and several outer buildings. Pine trees are numerous around the guest house, but there is also an open meadow.

Idylwild has a long history as a mountain resort and remains a low-key artistic village in a splendid setting. Weather ranges from wintry snow to warm summer breezes in the pines. Sandii Castleberry is a warm hostess, local musician, and well known in town. The cabin is a well-situated modular home with nice amenities, steps from Sandii's house, nestled amongst the pines and grassy meadows. The drive to Idylwild is a scenic adventure in itself, and you can get away from it all with only a several hour drive from anywhere in the greater la area.
