Stayed at the Hillsdale Retreat managed by Idyllwild Vacation Rentals. Arrived at the office on the day we were supposed to check in at 3 O'clock..nobody there...a message on the door to call C### at a certain phone number..got her voice mail...so..went out to the cabin..locked..went back to the office and she had returned. a wasted hour...The place was nice enough but needed some TLC...the dishwasher was not secured properly and fell out of the enclosure when we tried to use it. No instructions on how to use anything..couldn't adjust the thermostat..the alarm system kept beeping..the hot water was lukewarm at best. The DVD player was old and dirty and the movies we had rented were constantly stopping or freezing. We love Idyllwild and really enjoyed our stay but don't think we will rent from this agency again.

The rental we originally booked was not available due to a water line problem and we were very worried about our new accommodations. Wow! We did not need to worry. Idyllwild Vacation Rentals really took care of us and the substitute property they chose was fabulous! The home was perfect fou our cousins' get together. Beautifully appointed, comfortable, the perfect kitchen, and absolutely everything we needed for our stay (except an outdoor grill). We had a great time, now our only dilemna is do we chose this home next time or go back to our "other" favorite rental. Thanks again for a wonderful Idyllwild getaway!
