Des Moines, IowaWonderful apartment, great neighborhood
Left on 10/02/2012 for a stay in September 2012
This apartment was well furnished, very clean and comfortable. We could only stay for four nights but would have gladly stayed longer. There are many diverse restaurants, shops and grocery stores, as well as specialty shops for cheese, wine and bread. The building is in the center of other buildings so you don't hear the street noise. There is a school just behind the property but we weren't disturbed by the young people. Across the street is the Metro station and it is easy to hail a cab. Taxis were more economical for our group of four adults and one baby. One block away from the busy main street is a street with many nice shops and the mayor's office is in the former Hotel de Ville nearby. We would definitely rent this apartment again!!!

255100Excellent location and fantastic apartment amongst the locals.
Left on 02/02/2012 for a stay in January 2012
This was our second stay at this apartment and it was fabulous. My teenage daughter had a bed fit for a queen while by son had the standard single. Both were very happy with the apartment as were we. Only disaappointing aspect was that only some news channels on TV were in English, the remainder of the channels and the ones most attractive to kids were in french. So I recommend you bring some Dvd's to watch. Location was great, very close to a Metro station and in amongst the local shops and restaurants. Around the corner on Rue Huissiers was a very good supermarket, butcher etc and further along, around past the corner cafe on avenue achille Peretti, was a fantastic shop "Picard" that specialized in frozen meals. You should also visit the beautiful Hôtel de Ville, a short distance from Picard along avenue achille Peretti.

The location of this apartment was perfect . . . a short walk to a metro stop on Line 1. The neighborhood was great, with a grocery store around the corner and a boulangerie a few blocks away. Having a real apartment instead of a hotel room allowed us to feel like we were part of the neighborhood and meant that we didn't need to eat out three meals a day. There was a courtyard between the apartment and the street, so there was very little street noise. The manager was very helpful in sorting out a few logistics. The place was very clean and had a fully functional kitchen as well as a washer/dryer unit. I would definitely consider renting again from Vacation In Paris.

Very clean and comfortable apartment, well located near Bois de Boulogne and on the Metro line 1 which services most of the tourist spots. Good restaurants and stores around.

We had a great time, the location was great close to restaurants and everything Paris. Easy access to the metro, along with a great stroll to the arch de Triumph.
I would give this spot a two thumbs up for a fun time in Paris. -

AustraliaGreat Location
Left on 11/10/2009 for a stay in September 2009
Recently we stayed in this apartment for our first trip to Paris. We are a family of four with 2 teenage daughters. The apartment was well situated as on our arrival after unpacking wasting no time we walked to L'Arc de Triumph. It was equipped with everything you need especially washer and dryers, and in the hall closet is a library of tourist books- nice touch. Even though the subway was close by (a few steps from apartment exit), we chose to walk around. PP is a great apartment being very comfortable (especially bedding)and welcoming to get home to after long days of sight seeing. More comfortable than staying in a hotel as we had been touring Europe and were especially sick of the hotel environment. This apartment gave us space to truly relax. In the evening if we didnt want to go out to dinner, there was a little supermarket close by which had fresh produce.Pack light as you have to walk upstairs(girls i know this can be hard), but worth it. We intend on returning. Hope you have as much fun as we did!

the indicated unit, no. 110, is where we stayed in 2008. WE WERE IN no.123, LUXEMBOURG MAY 20-27, 2009.
only last nite I talked to my friends in america, whom I directed to you, and they said they were impressed with how organized you seemed.........oh well, the first impression is always the most important.
(re. 110-----your ad's use of the adjective "fantastic" and "sleeps seven" claim, are shameful. sorry. the unit is modest at best, acceptable at the price and is adequate for three civilized adults, tho best for two.
we actually tried to rebook it------because of the neuilly monoprix around the corner, the metro no. 1, , the proximity by taxi to roland garros, and because it's relatively quiet. airport taxi is also quicker/cheaper than arrond. 4,5 or 6.)
thanks again for your services -

Left on 06/04/2009 for a stay in October 2008
This apartment is in a great location--only one block from the main metro line in Paris. You're only 15 minutes from the center of everything. And it's one of the few metro stops in Paris that has an escalator.
The apartment was very comfortable for the 3 of us. The beds were great, there were sufficient towels and linens, and the never-ending hot water was fabulous (I'd like to get one for my home). It was nice that the toilet was separate from the shower so no one was "hogging" the bathroom.
The neighborhood is great too. There's a grocery store a block and a half away plus a marvelous pasta shop next to the grocery store. Down the other block is a bakery and a fruit stand. And there are several restaurants in the area if you don't want to cook.
The only uncomfortable thing in the apartment is the futon couch. It was hard to sit on--I'm just glad we didn't have to sleep on it.
We had one problem occur while we were there: the kitchen sink clogged up. I called the Paris manager on a Sunday night and he sent over someone the next day to fix it. Even though that gentleman did not speak English, my French was passable enough so that I understood what he was saying--one of the previous guests had thrown coffee grounds down the sink. Please note that there is no garbage disposal--throw your grounds in the trash.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend this apartment. If all the guests are adults--4 people is the max I would recommend. If there are children, then 7 people could fit. -

Great base to view the city of Paris. Close to metro and la Defense shopping mall.
Apartment would be cramped for 7 people. Some good food shops close by. Good but basic catering facilities, useful if travelling with children. Would return there again if going back to Paris! -

South CarolinaA Convenient Location!
Left on 06/04/2009 for a stay in April 2009
We enjoyed our stay here. The beds were comfortable. I would say this apartment sleeps five comfortably. The futon in the living room is not a comfortable sleeping arrangement. The best part about this apartment is its location, which is less than a block to the metro! I also think the price is very reasonable for such an expensive city. I would stay here again!

Minneapolis, MNDon't let the location keep you away
Left on 05/30/2009 for a stay in May 2007
We thoroughly enjoyed our apartment and the neighborhood. There is
a wonderful, market just down the street. It looks like a patisserie
from the front, and you walk in to find everything from fresh fish and
produce, to a vendor selling shoes! The apartment is attractive,
spacious, comfortable, and the kitchen well-equipped. The
mattresses are excellent. We loved the location and the ease of
getting into the heart of the city. The La Defense line takes you
everywhere you want to go and very quickly. The apartment is set
back off the street with a courtyard between so it was very quiet
except for the lovely sound of the church bell down the street. I was
impressed that a representative from the company checked on us to
see if everything was satisfactory, we were having difficulty with the
phone and answering machine, he talked us through that and called
the next day to make sure all was well. We will definitely stay here on
our next trip to Paris. -

Albany, NYWonderful Rental!
Left on 05/29/2009 for a stay in August 2008
What a fabulous time! This apartment totally suited our needs, it may have been a few metro stops from the center of Paris but it was very convenient, right on a primary metro line, clean, comfortable, more than big enough for my husband, my teenaged daughter and myself. We would rent this flat again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Belmont, CaliforniaGreat Parisian apartment
Left on 05/28/2009 for a stay in August 2008
The property fit our needs very well. We were
2 adults and 3 "kids": 1 21-year old male, 1
16-year old female and 1 13-year old female.
The girls (sisters) slept in the bedroom with
2 double beds, the adults slept in the other
bedroom (queen bed) and the 21 year old slept
on the futon in the living room/dining area.
Everything was well-maintained and equipped.
We received a nice welcome call from the
manager on the second day. The keys were
mailed to us in plenty of time prior to our
departure. The location is great, as it is off
the Ave Charles de Gaulle, but on the backside
of the building (and through a courtyard) so
not too noisy at all. We were about 2 blocks
away from a supermarket where we bought fresh
croisants in the morning and food for the
evening meal later on. We would return to this
property again and recommend it for groups
like ours or smaller. The TV is in the living
room area so the person sleeping there might
have to adjust to others' schedules (also in
the morning if others come into the dining
area to eat). -

We could not have found a better place to stay on our trip. The location was perfect and gave us access to all of Paris through line 1 of the metro system. We traveled with our 4 children and the appartment was perfect for all of us. There is a patisserie, a boulangerie, and a super market right aroud the corner. The kitchenette gave us the option of preparing quick meals and helped us save on food costs. When I return to Paris this is the appartment I will rent everytime!!!
