Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, this attractive cottage is in a rural location a couple of miles from Ilkley. Leyfield Barn is a semi-detached cottage in a countryside setting, two miles from Ilkley in Wharfedale. There are two bedrooms in the cottage, both with zip and link beds, meaning they can be offered as either a super king-size double or a twin. There is also a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. The cottage has a welcoming open plan living area, with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting area with electric stove. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The owner was friendly and welcoming, providing goodies on our arrival. The barn is beautifully kept and in a super location, accessible for the area but peaceful and secluded.It felt like an extension of their home, rather than being cheaply furnished as a holiday let. The holiday was a delight.
I liked the whole experience of Leyfield Barn as it was a comfortable home to relax in. The only drawback is that the central heating runs from the owners' cottage. They were quite happy to put it on if asked.The heating provided is instant but probably more expensive.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful and has been renovated to a high standard. Alison, the owner was very welcoming and hospitable and there was a nice cake and bottle of wine upon arrival. We holidayed with friends and a small baby and had a great time, lovely rural setting, perfect for walking but just a short hop into Ilkley to visit Betty's tearooms!

Accomodation very spacious high quality. Beautiful views over Ilkly moor, nice walks. Ilkly very nice, lots of eateries, nice location with places to visit nearby.

My husband and I stayed at this cottage for a week for the last week in September this year.
Set in fantastic countryside, but only 10 minutes away from Ilkley. Lovely open plan lounge with modern fittings, Sky TV., lovely modern bathroom and fantastic superking beds, which for us, was essential. Excellent feather duvets, although we hit the Indian Summer, so these weren't needed, but would be so cosy in winter. Clean and excellently funished, with a lovely welcome gift of Yorkshire Brack cake, wine and milk, which was much appreciated. We had a fantastic week. Tesco also delivers here, so no worries about getting your shopping, just order it online!
Wonderful walks right from the doorstep, or a great base to get out and about.
Our host alison, was friendly and welcoming and on hand to give us any tips about the area. Bear in mind that the Internet photo's don't do the place justice. -
