Pear Tree Cottage has lots of original features like an arched granite doorway and huge exposed oak beams.
The open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area is ideal for family entertainment.
The comfortable lounge area has a log burner perfect to cosy up in front of in the cooler months and some granite walls
The well equipped kitchen area has double doors that open onto the covered veranda; a communal games area, this leads to the large shared garden and pool area.
The first floor has a shower room and 4 bedrooms; 2 double rooms, 1 en-suite, a twin bedded room and one room with bunk beds.

The balance is due 8 weeks before arrival along with the 150€ security deposit.
A 150€ security deposit is required per cottage, this will be refunded to you after you leave providing it has been left in a reasonable condition and there are no breakages.
If the cottage has not been left in a reasonable condition then 75€ will be deducted to cover costs.

The cottage was fantastic everything it said it was! Set in the wonderful French countryside. The grounds were very child friendly with a play house, pool and trampoline. Barry and Sandy could not do enough they were very welcoming even catering for our 6 month old baby by supply a cot, highchair and baby seat.

I booked this holiday as my family and I hadn't been abroad since 2006. We've been to France before and decided we would like to visit Brittany.
Booking couldn't have been any easier. Communication with the owners was prompt and the information provided was bang up to date and helpful.
The cottage was beautiful and had all the features you would expect in a little French cottage. The location is off the beaten track but still only a small drive away from a very pretty town with a supermarket and petrol station.
We spent much of our time at the cottage and my three daughters (15,9,5) loved the pool and the trampoline. It truely was a holiday to sit back in the French countryside and enjoy the sun, good food and good wine.
We have made some good friends and I will be returning in the future and doing exactly the same. -

Cottage was roomy and we really enjoyed the outdoor activities and country experience. The beds were all very comfy. Water pressure was excellent and kitchen was well appointed.

We had a great time here with my family and friends. The location is perfect for all kinds of things to do. The owners are very friendly and helpful when needed. You get a lot for the price you pay.

Despite unusually rainy 2 weeks at the beginning of July, we really enjoyed our stay and loved both the cottage and the beautiful countryside round about. We were part of a large family group of 12 ranging from 6 months to age 60 and were all made to feel so welcome by Sandy and Barrie. Cots and high chairs arranged well in advance, lots of outside space and plenty for little ones to play with in the barn. Some of us hired bikes for one week and loved exploring the villages, cafes, etc nearby from a disused railway line (nice and flat!) and ventured off onto quiet roads. The food and drink locally are superb and much better value than in seaside Brittany. Thanks to Sandy and Barrie for making it such a great family break.

Having a large family of 7, sometimes it is hard to find affordable and scenic accommodation. Pear Cottage covered all our needs and Sandy and Barry were always on hand should we ever want anything. The children enjoyed the pool and the games room after day trips around the French countryside. The location was perfect, close to many larger towns and tourist attractions, particularly Mont St. Michel.
