First time to Indian Beach and it was a pleasant surprise. Neat clean and convenient to shopping. We would go back again. Our rental unit was very nice with a good view of the ocean. The pools and snack bar were very nice. The only thing I would have liked was a squeegy to clean our window so we could see better.

wonderful place but all our stay it was construction in all 3 swiming pools wich disturb our vacation

We had a great time in Emerald Isle, the location of the condo was great!!On the beach and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning or night listening to the waves. The condo was the right size for our family of 4 and had everything we needed and it had so many choices for the kids, pool, beach, in-door pool, tennis etc. The owners were nice enough to let us rent it for an additional night since it was avaliable.

We had a great time. The condo was very nice and had a nice ocean view. it was great to walk out on the balcony every morning and see the ocean.

First, I would classify this condo more as "ocean view," not "ocean front" as it was advertised. The only place you can see the ocean from is the balcony, and even then you can just see a section of the beach, not a big panoramic view like I was expecting. The main front window looks straight across at other condos. So that part was a disapointment. Also, I had to scrub the bathtub very hard before I could give my 1 year old a bath. There was a layer of scum and it seemed like the tub hadn't been cleaned well in a long time. Other than that, the cleaniness was fine. Summer winds is a very nice place to stay, but next time I will make sure I am in a true ocean front condo, and not one of the side ones.

Thank you for providing your review of your stay at Summer Winds B536. I agree that Summer Winds is a fantastic place to stay while visiting Emerald Isle. The indoor and outdoor pools make for great recreation in addition to the beach.
I'm sorry your view wasn't all you had hoped it would be. This is an Oceanfront condo because there isn't anything obstructing the view of the Ocean, no buildings are separating this condo from the beach. Oceanview would be used to describe a property that does have a view but is 2nd row or further back, with another property or properties separating it from the beach. Our website is an excellent source to use in determining exactly what you can expect in terms of view, decor, and often location since most of our condos do depict a layout of the complex in which they are located. We work very hard to keep our website up to date so the description and pictures are current and accurate.
I have submitted a housekeeping request so more attention can be paid to the bath tub. I'm happy to hear that the rest of the condo was of the high standards for which our housekeeping department strives.
