Response from the manager Hi Andrea, We appreciate your review of Sail Away and are very sorry to hear your stay was less than perfect. I am happy to see that out maintenance crew was able to come out and assist you in a timely manner. It appears that we came out and fixed the elevator issue, but it unfortunately stopped working a few days later. Sometimes these issues are beyond our realm of expertise and we have to contract out. It is unfortunate that the contracting company was unable to get the elevator working again during your stay. Our housekeeping crew reports that they offered an inspection but were told that the home looked great. Please know that if ever there are issues with cleaning, we are happy to come out and rectify the issue. We are always happy to hear your feedback and right our discrepancies. Please do not hesitate to call our customer service team at 888-832-0140 for further assistance.

I appreciate you letting us know about the ceilings. This surface mildew is a caused when cool air, like that in the air conditioned house, meets the hot, humid outside air. Our housekeeping staff will be able to remove the discoloration and we appreciate you letting us know about it. You'll be very pleased to know that the owners of Sail Away have plans to replace the pool decking prior to the 2017 rental season so new decking will be awaiting you when you arrive for your next stay.
