I would recommend this property with a strong caution. The building shouldn't be advertised as "smoke free" if people can smoke on the pool deck. The location was wonderful but the condo needs to be updated.

Love the view and the surrounding areas. Had a wonderful week . Only problem we encountered was the unit was not as clean as it should have been upon our arrival. We did let management know our complaint they wanted to send housekeeping to address the problem but we cleaned up the problems ourselves before we got settled in.

We have stayed in Sea Gate 202 for three years in a row during the month of November and have it reserved for the same period in 2013. My wife and I have nothing but good things to say about this property, our rental agent, and the property management.

This is our third year renting this unit. Dee in the rental office as usual looked after our every need with her usual concern and professionalism. We were pleased to see that the unit was repainted since we were here last year and that a kitchen faucet had been replaced. I would have given a five star rating in all of the above categories however a walkway light was burned out near our condo and the door mechanism to the south stairwell was malfunctioning making it useless as a fire exit. I reported this to Dee for attention of the property management.

Elevator really needs help. So so so slow.
New pillows desperately needed.
Patio windows need an industrial strength cleaner. We tried window cleaner but didn't work at all.
Some of the cooking pots and pans we had last summer are missing.
Dryer vent really needs to be cleaned out (the hose going to outside). Could maybe be a fire hazard.
Short on towels for a 3 bedroom unit.
Fan in master bath really needs to be replaced (extremely loud) as well as a number of fluorescent light bulbs.
Great pool maintenance.

The view and access to beach was wonderful. Making reservations was easy and the property was as advertised.Some problems with light switches and a clogged drain when we arrived. The location was great for restaurants and was a good central location for all we wanted to do. Even a tropical storm didn't dampen us much.

the condo was in a wonderful location and was very nice. Parking was easy and when we had a slight maintenance issue - they sent someone out the same day. But on the flip side, it would have been nice to get a call back that our message was received. Our only wishes were for more comfortable beds and for ceiling fans to help muffle noise when someone was asleep and others were up. (the tile floors don't absorb sound well). It is 3 weeks out and I am still waiting on my deposit, but I would definitely stay here again. It is a million dollar view out to the gulf, pool is great, nice area, very convenient.

as we checked the condo out found one bed busted witch the maid could not make the bed and not notice,one door on vanity hanging by one hinge one drawer front pushed down these two items I fixed not a big deal but should have been noticed,air conditioner did not work,no screens on windows or doors since the air conditioner did not woork had to leave patio doors open all night which let in all the bugs not to nice had lots of bites.

Great location. 10 minutes to Clearwater Beach and John's Pass (Madeira Beach). Rooms were large and the condo was clean. Loved having washer / dryer in the condo. Pool was clean and not too chlorinated. Beach / gulf views are priceless. We didn't go out to eat because we enjoyed eating on the balcony so much. Beach was clean. My only complaint is that the garbage truck comes every other day at 7:15 am.

leak in the the kitchen faucet needs repair, not the most well cleaned unit, no garbage disposal and not a lot of cooking items. However, it is all about location, location, location, plus the views, 3 bedrooms and nice furniture.

I am sorry to have to say that our condo at 202 Sea Gate was the dirtiest place we have ever vacationed at. The floors were beyond dirty, lipstick on glassware, went to pick up the lamp in one of the bedrooms and dust just came tumbling out. There were broken cups and bowls in the cabinets. We had to clean enough dishes and utensils again just for us to use during our stay. I will never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone. We did register a complaint the next morning and we were given a letter that if we came back, we would get $100 off of our stay and an upgrade. No thank you. You had one chance to make a first impression.
