If you are looking for a laid back vacation, away from all of the fast paced tourist and run down t-shirt shops, this is the place! Indian shores is a very clean, friendly, beautiful place to enjoy some white sand and clear water. Or if you're in the mood, a great dinner at a very reasonable price. But if you feel like going to a ball game or visiting st Pete or Clearwater, both are within driving distance.
We loved staying at The Chateaux, room 503! It had more than enough space for me and my wife and was recently nicely remodeled. My only small complaint with this room, was the bed. It was pretty wobbly and squeaked if we barely moved. This condo came with everything you need and more. There is everything that you have in your kitchen at home, and even a bottle of wine in the fridge when you first arrive. The balcony views over the gulf were breathtaking, especially at sunset! Also 4 out of the 8 days we were there we saw dolphins swimming by close to the beach.
All in all this was a perfect vacation and I would highly recommend vacationing here! We hope to return in the near future! -

We stayed at this delightful condo for one week over the New Year holiday season. Its location, overlooking the sea is wonderful. All the amenities were clean/new and it was wonderful to be able to cook and eat with this lovely view in the background. Sadly though the dolphins were a bit shy on our visit. Overall a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this condo. You do however need a car but that goes for most places in the US. One thing that could have been better and that is the bed was so soft and felt like a water bed. Not a major problem though.

Always enjoy Condos at Chateaux but put off this time by the beach being done really spoilt experience. Condo lovely but quite depressing far to dark needs cream walls

We had an amazing stay at the Chateaux unit 503. The unit was modern and updated with all the amenities of home. We were minutes away from shops and grocery stores. The beach was steps away from the condo and the pool was nice, clean and well kept with plenty of sun chairs. We are thinking of returning next year for our family vacation

Great place - we would rent again. Location and beach access excellent. A few minor things as there is always room to improve - but these are MINOR. Fold out bed needed a new mattress, it was really pretty bad even for kids. Bring a blow-up to lay over top of it. Screen door handle got stuck and we couldn't get in one day when we where there, but maintenance was there to fix it within an hour. Good thing we had our cell phone and it was not in the unit! Landline number hard to determine - should be clearer/posted. Check-in office at the property management company only open until 5 on Saturday? They really should extend these hours on check in day. Mini washer/dryer combo in unit would have made a big difference if it could be installed and a great investment. Nobody wants to sweat in a hot laundry room on vacation. All that said we might rent again if it works for us. Communication with the owner was excellent and price was reasonable. Property management company very responsive and friendly if you have to call them. Overall feel like we got what we paid for, and think you will too.

#503 is the best condo at this location. We have stayed there 6 or 7 times in the last 10 years. We were happy to see some old regular guests and some of the owners.
