We rented the Bougainvillea Estate for three nights this past March. We also held our wedding ceremony and reception on the estate. From start to finish, everything about this property was amazing and in perfect condition (the property manager, Mike, is wonderful too). We are extremely picky about cleanliness and upkeep, and I have to say that we had no complaints in this regard. We housed about 16 people on all three nights, and it was fantastic because even though there were a lot of us staying there, there was still a ton of privacy because of the house's great layout. Nearly every bedroom has its own entrance/exit door out to the pool and courtyard, which is really nice. The game room is incredible--it has more activities than you can imagine.
We had 55 guests at our wedding, and the house was perfect for this size event. But it could also easily accommodate and event of many more people. The front lawn area is enormous and lovely so we held the ceremony out there and then moved to the back courtyard for the reception. There is an amazing outdoor kitchen/grill area by the pool that was perfect for late-night post-wedding grilling and hanging out. It's really the perfect property for entertaining a good amount of people but also having the space to withdraw for privacy. The only drawback is that it's not as close to Palm Springs as we would've liked, but still it's really just a 15-minute drive away. However, it is the ideal location if you're going to Coachella!
