This lovely first floor cottage apartment is situated in Ingleton, near Kirkby Lonsdale and can sleep three people in two bedrooms. Northern Retreats is situated in Ingleton near Kirkby Lonsdale. The cottage sleeps three people and has one super king-size double, one single, a bathroom and open plan living accommodation consisting of a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Outside, the cottage benefits from off road parking and a Juliet balcony. With stunning walks and The Three Peaks nearby, Northern Retreats is a fantastic setting for your family holiday.

Amenities: Electric central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwa...ve, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, selection of books, games and DVDs. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate available. Off road parking for 1 car in a designated parking bay, additional parking available on a first come, first served basis. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops 10 mins walk, pub 3 mins walk.

Town: The attractive village of Ingleton is nestled beneath Ingleborough, one of the famous Three Peaks on the western edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Offering a wide range of shops, pubs and places to eat, the winding streets of this pretty village all converge on a central market place. A mile outside of Ingleton and down the Hawes road are the well known White Scar Caves. Open to the public, these caves display a huge number of caverns full of stalactites and stalagmites, with one cave home to a huge underground lake. The superb ‘Falls Walk’ offers an interesting circuit which takes in some of the impressive cascading waterfalls of the area whilst the proximity to both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake distract make this an excellent place for walkers.Read more

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  Sykes Holiday Cottages went out of their way to help me book this property. When we got there we wanted for nothing and everything in it was new and lovely. It was a 5 min walk from the centre of the village where there was a small supermarket and a few pubs along with more quaint individual shops and cafes. We liked its location to the Three Peaks and the numbered parking space. The bed ensured we had a good nights sleep. The only downside to this place is that it is accessed by stairs which may be a problem to some people, not us.

  Unfair Repair Charges

  We had a nice stay at the apartment but unfortunately it was spoiled by the fact we were hit with unfair charges for what should have been a minor repair. A broken plastic clip to be precise, we were told the clip could not be replaced (which i dont believe for one minute) and therefor the whole unit had to be replaced at great expense to us. I would have happily paid a reasonable price as it was our fault but we feel on this occasion that we were greatly overcharged. For this reason I would not recommend this place.
