We booked this home to spend a week with our son and daughter and their young children to celebrate our anniversary . The house was a good choice to accomodate 3 couples, a baby and two little boys. The large fenced yard was great and dogs were allowed so we were able to bring one large and one small dog.
There was a nice large deck to sit on and look out into the yard and the mountains, lake view however was was not amazing at all ! Very tiny part of the lake was visible ... this was misrepresented by the title "amazing mountain and lake view ". There were no screens on the windows or the patio door and mosquitoes were quite a problem, there were no window coverings on the large living room/ dining room windows, so the sun was beating down from morning until early afternoon really heating up the house !!! There was no central air so unless windows were open it was very warm in there.. there was a small portable air conditioning unit in the closet that we didn't notice until the day we were leaving , so not sure if this would have cooled this large space or not.
There was a good selection of toys available for the 3 and 5 year old boys to play with so this was quite handy.
It was a fair walk down hill to the lake and beach, not possible with 3 yound children who would have had to walk back up the hill to get back.
Master bedroom was large and bed very comfy, patio door exited to the backyard. These would have been nice to open and allow fresh air however, once again , no screen and mosquitoes were a huge problem. Washer and dryer handy to have as well.
