Larchfield - a beautiful house in a beautiful location

As a family of four, Larchfield was the perfect property for a 5 day stay in the Highlands. The house is situated in a fairly remote location, but was not difficult to find and is not far from the main route to Inverness. The surrounding area is very nice, with forest walks and a trout fishery nearby. The gardens are very well maintained and outdoor seating etc is provided.
The house itself is beautiful inside and out, with all mod cons and furnished to a very high standard. The two boys (15 and 5) loved it!
The owner of the property is a gentleman and was very keen to make sure we were happy with everything, and was on hand to answer any questions and to provide advise on local attarctions and things to do.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Larchfield to anyone who is looking for a spacious and luxurious house as a base for exploring the surrounding area. It really made our stay in the area a pleasure.
A nice break in the Highlands

The holiday home was excellent in every way. The location was fine with good access to the main a9 and to the City of Inverness. The house was very clean and comfortable to live in. The only downside to the holiday was the cool wet weather and problem with mobile phone communications which was very patchy. Overall though, and excellent holiday home.

A very comfortable, welcoming cottage, where we would happily stay again.
The views from the garden were stunning, and as the weather was good to us we were able to appreciate the peace and quiet of an evening.

Glad we discovered it. Would definitely stay here again. It was quiet, comfortable and strategically located for all the travel that we did during our stay. Ample accomodations for the 4 of us adults. Read more
