The house is located in the bay-front hills 15 km north of Inverness, Cape Breton, NS, Canada, and known in the neighborhood as “the red box on the hill.â€
It has a spacious open kitchen and living room on the first floor (135 square meters, around 1500 square feet) with a window glass front that provides for an unobstructed view over the bay. On the second floor are 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms (95 square meters around 1000 square feet).

I spent there just a couple of days three years ago but I was immediately in love with this place and came home feeling like I had been on a long-term vacation. Coming from a hectic life near Manhattan, I truly enjoyed being far away, embraced by open views to the gorgeous bay and nothing else but peace and quiet and nature. The house is modern, wide and open but yet warm and cozy in style. Waking up in the morning and seeing the glistening bay from your bed, taking a walk on the beach (refreshingly empty compared to NJ beaches!), having a drink in the afternoon on the porch while relaxing and admiring the sun set, eating lobsters in town, just wonderful. I am only sorry the golf course was not yet there; however, that's just another reason for me to come back.
