A spacious three bedroomed barn conversion sleeping 5 situated in a rural setting with walking and cycling opportunities from the doorstep. You are very welcome to bring along your pet who will also appreciate the delightful walks.
The Granary, Ruthwaite is part of a tiny, former farming hamlet of the 1600’s, set in a most restful, tranquil, location among the Caldbeck hills yet only a 15 to 20 minute drive of the many amenities, tourist attractions and activities which the Lake District offers.

Views were lovely, the cottage was comfortable and warm (once we discovered how to turn on the radiators). Least liked was the shower; old fashioned, warm water took ages to appear and water leaked all over the floor due to ill fitting door.

We spent a few days here in February and had a great time. We have 3 children and a dog and there was plenty of room for us all. The children loved the farm animals and the views are fantastic. Our landlady lives nearby and offered a lovely welcome including cakes ! She was attentive but not intrusive. The cottage has some great walks in the vicinity and of course you are on the doorstep of Keswick and surrounding area. Pub in local village does great food and very friendly. A great short break and we will definitely be bcak for more soon !
