Wonderful vacation. Lodging had a great view and nice amenities. Everything was clean, comfortable and well stocked from towels to dishes. Generous seating for evening events with other family members staying at the hill.

We stayed at Scenic View the third weekend in January. It was a pretty cold weekend, but the skiing was still great. My husband and I kept saying that the owner's of Scenic View really thought through what was needed for the "comforts of home". Every time we needed something it was exactly where you expected it to be.
The hot tub was awesome, the beds comfy, the view extraordinary, and the house is just lovely. It is very close to the lodge and very well kept. -

Stayed at the Scenic View during a brittle cold snap in January; a few of us braved the weather to go skiing and snowshoeing and had a great time and some of the group were happy to stay warm inside the cabin by the fire.
The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with cooking utensils/pans plus spices and other basics that allowed us to stay in and do a lot of cooking. We only had to bring the groceries, everything else (including a tea kettle!) was provided.
The fireplace was wonderfully located in the main living room area right by the kitchen making that entire floor a cozy area to hang out, watch movies (great variety of movies and board games provided by owners) and relax in.
The hot tub fit 5 adults fairly comfortably and is a nice feature.
The heated tile floors were a nice bonus in the main entry with lots of space for winter snow gear. The beds were very comfy and it was nice to have your own tv (though they are small) in each room.
You can tell the family who owns Scenic View has a lot of pride in ownership and maintaining this cabin as a cozy, home-like atmosphere with lots of updates. We would definitely stay there again. The only thing that would be nice to see (throughout the whole Bessemer area, not just this cabin) would be recycling for glass and aluminum cans. -

This was our second stay with Big Powderhorn Lodging association and we're so happy we chose Scenic View for our stay. It was the perfect setup for our group. It's cozy, clean and up-to-date. The beds were really comfortable (which can be rare in a rental) and the kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with anything and everything you need! Thank you to the owners for sharing this lovely cabin. We'll be back!

We had a fantastic time at Scenic View. We were two families spending an extended weekend for ski and NYE celebrations. Parents enjoyed the double-suite you have - each of us getting a king-size bed was very nice! The two girls shared the third room, and our son enjoyed "Nate's Nook†in the loft.
The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after hitting the hills - and teaching the little girl how to ski. Teaching someone to ski works muscles you never knew you had! It was really nice to soak in the hot tub afterwards.
We had a feast for NYE, and the kitchen had all the items necessary so we could make crab, shrimp, scallops, and steak. Grill had charcoal and lighter fluid - thank you! Large pots and crockpots too! Very well stocked with seasoning - it's all here.
Only bummer was we could not locate the remote for the tv upstairs - so we had kids changing the channels for us. Kinda like the "old†days when we had no remotes!
Highly recommend the cabin - it's hard to get a reservation here! -

We had a great time. The unit was very nice. It had comfortable beds, awesome views and the fireplace keep us all warm. I highly recommend staying at Scenic View.

Big Powderhorn remains a excellent value for the money. Plenty of snow, no lines, and a great variety of runs. Scenic View home rental was excellent except for electrical problems with the hot tub and the fact that the hot tub water needed to be replaced or filtered better.

The house was gorgeous, warm, comfortable, and clean. The heated entry floor was perfect for drying small amounts of snow on our boots, and popular for the kids to test out in their stocking feet. The only drawback was that sound traveled from room to room and floor to floor very easily. That was not unexpected for the loft area, but I was surprised at the noises in the lower floor bedrooms and bath. I would still visit again!

This is a really nice property. EVERYTHING is new and comfortable. Great beds! It was a little tough for the kids to sleep downstairs with us upstairs talking and walking due to layout, but not a big deal.
THe only thing that they need to do is replace the hot tub cover... VERY heavy due to water logging.
We'll come back! -

The chalet was excellecnt, best we ever stayed at in the last 4 years coming up north skiing. the view was awesome from the 2nd floor deck. Hot tub worked great, very spacious bedrooms w/large kitchen/dining area. Will be back next year to this chalet. thanks

we had tried to cancel as my mother law went int he hospital at 2:30 that friday and was not doing well we where told we would lose everthing. was not really happy asked if we could do another weekend. so I and our children went and we were called home Saturday at 3:00 not sure if was gone to make it thru the night.
even thu we lost a night lodging as you did give us one night back. we had a great day skiing on sat thu it would of been better to come a different weekend as we only good aford to come once and we where not all together.
we will try and come next year we would stay in the Scenic view again this had been our second time and this cabin was way better than the first time
